Chelsea will be gutted that they conceded such a sloppy goal. Still a decent result, but it gives them a lot more work to do in the 2nd leg.

Yep! Annoying to see a lapse of concentration like that but at this level you can't do it although with a bit more luck it could have been 3-1. Thought Conte set the team up perfect for this game btw.

Chelsea did everything right tonight, apart from 1 lapse in concentration.

That penalty appeal seemed to distract them, what a silly ball across the goal from Christianson.

Don't underestimate the brilliance of Iniesta there though, most players would have blasted it at goal and probably missed, but Iniesta is so cool, and composed in those situations, and just puts it on a plate for Messi, who's never gonna miss those type of opportunities.

Hazard again not at the races, in a big game, that's the reason he isn't world class IMO.

Willian on the other hand stepped up and always makes you wonder why he's on the bench so much. I thought Rudiger played really well at the back too.

Willian was outstanding, and I too wonder why he spends so much time on the bench.

Lesson is, you cannot switch off for even one second against players like these, if you do they’ll crucify you.

He did ok, but he did nothing special in the game, considering all the hype surrounding him, he needs to be doing a lot more in terms of having an effect on the game. If he's going to live up to his billing.

It's all well and good looking good against WBA, but there's a reason he only has 8 CL goals, and we seen why tonight.

One thing I do think from watching the game tonight, is that Barcelona won't be winning this years CL. Losing Neymar was a huge blow, and they are also lacking a plan B in attack.

The 2 sides I fancy are Real Madrid and Bayern, those 2 sides are the complete package technically and physically.

Barca are only a shadow of the team they used to be with all their great players getting older and slower and new recruits not as good as the previous. Mind you saying that they can still bite. The Chelsea 2005-2011 team would have hit them for a hatful.

    Good.
Aguero was attacked ffs, what he isnt allowed to defend himself?
No way should he be punished.
Wigan should sanction their ****ing fans and not allow them to mob the pitch like they have just won a league title.
