Everybody likes a nice cup of tea or coffee, but what do we prefer?

Personally speaking you cannot beat this. Always lovely and strong and no need to keep the bag in the cup to keep the flavour.

Even though my beloved originates from the home of coffee, I would always settle for a Maxwell house.

I will always say that a nice cup of tea is more thirst quenching than any cold lager. 5 degrees or 35 degrees, tea wins the day.

Enjoy both tea & coffee - but can’t drink too much of either.

Agree with the Elfs that Twinings is excellent.

Rumour has it that @ForestHillBilly gets 8 cuppas out of just one tea bag.

    Pret's filter coffee is excellent.

Cheap and strong, just like me!

Yorkshire loose leaf tea, can't beat it. Always coffee when not at home though you get a good cup of coffee but a mediocre cup of tea in most places.

When I'm feeling a bit adventurous I like a fruit flavoured tea. Strawberry or Lemon(no jokes please) are tasty enough.

Marks n Sparks scoff has always been top notch.

My charity shop salary does not allow me to purchase too often unfortunately.

I get 90% of my food shopping in M&S.
That Tesco’s in Orpington is like something out of the Jeremy Kyle Show.

Could be worse, Morrisons in Petts Wood is a bit hostile.

I'm going to have to stop drinking tea from Greggs in the mornings.

It's getting weaker than an apologist's arguement supporting Duchatelet and squirrel face.

I drink Twinings Earl Gray tea. I don't drink coffee because I don't like the taste. It also makes your breath stink.I love the smell of it though. To recap, I love tea, especially Earl Gray and I like sniffing Coffee.

Hot chocolate out in Italy is absolutely fantastic.

It is so thick and syrupy you could almost eat it.

Is it true that more than 4 cups of tea/coffee a day is not good for you ?

If true, I'm royally buggered: I drink approximately 15-20 cups of strong coffee a day. I get my favourite Ethiopian blends delivered from a specialist based in Cambridge. My everyday coffee of choice is Kenco's Colombian, though I quite like a Percol or Douwe Egberts.

If I had to have a cup of tea, I'd plump for Twinings' Breakfast or something strong from Marks'.

    Good thread. :emoticon-0162-coffe :emoticon-0176-smoke :emoticon-0162-coffe

15-20 cups Ponders - are you serious ?

You must resemble my kids when they were young & used to eat a bag of Haribos :emoticon-0108-speec

PS - this is a good quality thread with lots of erudite contributions - @AllHellLetLoose aka “The Psycho” please note <whistle>
