Well that's th quadruple gone. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it's just a double after the weekend.

Sorry to disagree but on this occasion
Studs are up - goes right through player and legs - red for me
If markovic was that defo was :)

Disgusting behaviour from the players and fans at the end like
    Bang out of order

could be wrong but looked to me like it was only trailing leg that made contact, that was my view in real time and on replay. Obviously not a city fan and happy that wigan won but believe in fairness and IMO if a wigan player did the same the ref would not have sent him off.

I tend to judge these on
If that was a Utd or spurs player on one of LFC would I want a red
And that I would have been screaming on the sight of a yellow :)

    Wanted to see pep
Because he doesn’t lose many it hard to really know but from what I have seen he is a terrible loser (Tbf that not a bad thing) but the Wigan fans and team deserved more respect than what they seem to have been given.
Aguero has taken a swing at a fan and bbc have highlighted it - that could be interesting

Studs up and loss of control. He could have injured the player. I too would have screamed for red if that tackle was against one of our players.

City lacked a bit of class at the end. They may be the best team in the land but a classy outfit would have been generous towards a less well resourced club like Wigan at the end.

Well done to Wigan. They and Rochdale are keeping the romance of the Cup (although end of of the road for Rochdale at Wembley but they won’t care)

I tend to judge these on if it was an LFC player would I feel badly done to esp when comparing similar tackles in recent times and my answer is still yes I would. I know I am getting old and tackling has changed but most refs would give that as yellow.

as a side question, I have seen/heard that the ref was just writing his notes on the yellow card before issuing red, why?

How poor from Walker........what is he doing initially?.....letting it go deliberately?
Then seems to pull out of a challenge when Grigg is approaching the penalty area...............weird

They are discussing this on talk sport now.
They are surmising that ref got info from the earpiece. General concensus it was a red. They discussing more the behaviour afterwards tbh.

Surprisingly candy is sticking up for the players but that is not a shock
Wanted to see what his stance was on the for West Brom players
As candy is one of those who thinks players should have all the rights of a normal worker until they do something you or I would be sacked for - then he thinks they should be treated differently.
Proper cockwomble of the highest order.
    But tonight is interesting

Tend not to listen to talkshyte during the aftermath of any game as it is it even more polarized than 606, polarized I can cope with but add that to the typical talk radio DJ line of saying shyte just to anger fans to get them ring in and it is worse than Diego V Astro

Maybe City shouldn't whinge in the media about players needing protection if they're going to go in studs up

To be fair City players are being punished for it while others who are doing it against them, aren't. And bad tackles seem to be made on City players every week, can't say I've seen City players regularly making bad tackles throughout the season.
