Adds a bit to my argument me thinks about the bigger clubs not sufficiently interested in the Cup. A full city team would never have been beaten by Wigan or for that matter a great number of English clubs.
City had a very strong team out tonight. Sane in for Sterling and David Silva in for KDB the only real changes?
You realise then when we play them there can be no excuse for not winning if Wigan can beat them so can we. Well done Wigan. You’ve done more than quite a few premier clubs can do. I wonder how that could happen??
It’s the FA Cup, anything can happen. “It’s a great leveller” as they used to say. To be fair, Aguero was having an off game, and I’m not sure bringing Walker on for Sane was the right decision at all, or Silva for De Bruyne. But Wigan took their only chance, and City couldn’t finish any of the dozens they had. That’s football!
