Didn't really like the Swedish one either, thought it was very slow. I seem to be in the minority though as the ratings are good.

 

Got to agree, I watched the Swedish films and thought they were excellent.

By the way I suppose Black Sails has been mentioned in the past? Thought that was good.

 

Could not get into Black Sails, bit corny. Like Pirates of the Caribbean with swearing and tits.

 

Black Sails is a bit corny and trash but I found it watchable, mostly due to tits and other female nudity

 

Very much a Blade Runner type feel to Altered Carbon.

I watched them all.

I thought

a) yes she was as plastic as **** and is headed for a bad ending. she'll enjoy herself on daddy's billions on the way though

b) in general the series was quite good. better than last year but that is the perspective of someone who prefers these 3 to anything bbc served up since.

c) on that bombshell is clearly owned as copyright by bbc now. One that terrible disappointment is a direct replacement. If fact 99% of the show INCLUDING two stars driving cars and a dirt track is the trio and the producers sticking two fingers at BBC. There nothing original here at all.

d) it is now enjoyable on the level that last of the summer wine was enjoyable its familar and delivers the same **** each week and if you like it great. I don't think amazon are making money on this and i can't see it renewed for the cash they got for 3 series.

I won't go into any specific episodes as i'm sure not all have watched. but there was one shocking celeb who was absolute lightening on the track and you'd not have expected who.

 

Yeah, it's cornflakes tv. Not Alpen, not cocopops just cornflakes but I keep forgetting I quite like corn flakes lol

IMO they are putting less work in now than they did with BBC. still cannot believe the bbc were that stupid. the trio now in (even without evans who was hated) are getting piss all ratings. talk about killing the golden goose.

I believe its now less than 2 mil for top gear and i refuse to believe that bbc player is where its then watched. thats what 30%? no Christmas specials etc etc?

I've not.. i've not even tuned in in last series of top gear.

 

Genuinely never watched an episode of the new lot. As you say...format might be creaking but it's the Clarkson 3 that made the show. .you know it the 3 knew it, Amazon know it..... only the BBC apparently didn't know it lol
