No excuses from me mate, you can't excuse what he does but just more or less accept that it's part of today's game, unfortunately.

Like I said in a previous comment, many players do - or would do - what Alli does if they were presented with the same opportunities. It really would be naive to believe otherwise.

The difference with Alli is that he goes looking for it, virtually in every game. So his card is marked now and he's going to be under the spotlight for diving.
In today's game, although he was fouled and it was a pen, he still theatrically threw himself to the ground.

He's pretty much everything that's wrong in football today.
Cheated little Rochdale out of a glorious win.
I don't blame him as poch encourages it so he's only doing what he's told.
