I'm a little confused, and it takes less and less these days, but can someone tell me what Short gets from having the club taken into administration! Where's the win for him?
Not sure that there is a win for him now, Burley. He has gambled on Coleman keeping us up, and that's looking more unlikely as each game goes by. The only "plus" for Short, as I see it, is that he won't have to keep funding the club to the tune of £3 million per month just to keep the day to day running costs going. When he stops doing that, we are in deep s4it. He would basically be cutting his losses.
I'm pleased that I had a daughter instead of a son. It severely lessens the chance of passing down the hereditary SAFC gene. I had her tested for it by taking her to the Birmingham game for her first time just before Xmas, and she has not asked to go back. The family are delighted.
I have left it until today to reply to this thread, disappointed doesn't even come close to how I'm feeling, and my lass keeps telling me to snap out of it. I'm trying. After all the years of hurt that these twats have given me, you would think by now that practice makes perfect, but we **** up everything - transfers, buying duds, sell-ons, contracts, and I can't see a recovery anytime soon when we go down. The only bright side is that we know someone is/was willing to buy the club
Well have a nice day mate. I hope you have a lovely Sunday dinner. A bit of a kip afterwards, couple of drinks this evening & you get some pussy tonight.
As bad as I've ever seen it yesterday. Oshea Jones Browning Cattermole and Fletcher should be dropped for the Bolton game. I think it' academic now. Our only hope is that our youngsters can cut it in league one
I'm so down its horrific. Second rate team in a lower league strips. Think Coleman will be off soon as he looked and sounded a broken man in post match interviews
Whilst I agree they were poor yesterday, sadly think it’d be impossible to drop 3 defenders. Unless Galloway is your answer in which case we truly are ****ed!! The only optimism I can glean from our situation is that we’re not cut adrift!! Sad state of affairs
He looked horrendous after the match. The sparkle in his eyes has gone and he looked like a tramp. Why didn't he comb his hair ffs? Is that what a couple of months as Sunderland manager does to a person?
It's what happens when all managers have players who are sub standard We have many and an owner who has also given up.
