Apologies for the bold caps ... that's how it copied and I was in a rush. TBH Unless we were looking to try a few things our or introduce more youngsters I think we should have picked out strongest (available) side who would have got the job done against a one dimensional Wednesday.
Interesting how people see games. I personally thought VDH and Connors were way out of their depth. VDH caught out positionally on many occassions, slow, poor in defence and gave the ball away a few times too. As for Connor, I thought he was very slow on the ball and everytime we attacked down the right, he killed all momentum as he was far too slow in his passing etc - although he is still developing so the jury is out on him for a while.
It is strange because the commentary team on BT sports were full of praise for VDH and I thought Connor was quicker than George Boyd who had obviously been told to put pressure on the inexperienced youngster.
Slow motion confirmed to me that it was definitely a dive Dai. The tiniest of contact does not mean a foul. The somersault was not warranted by the touch as he was going down. Cheating ****. I hate him.
