Men and women are not equal...some things are suited to men, others to women, some things we can both do Square pegs round holes ****
yacontcha I have Mrs fan well trained. Footie comes on she takes young uns out. But watches motd or matches I'm not fussed about with me
The OP will be overjoyed at the massive success off his thread, after his splendid, and informative opening post.
Most "isms" start with the right intentions and go too far Feminism today is about demeaning men not equality. They can **** off with that ****
Had to giggle on Friday. This week was national women in science week and my organisation had loads of stuff about it. I took my 7 year old niece out on Friday and the natural history museum had a one hour waiting time. I told her we had a choice between the science museum or the V&A which was about art and some history. She told me that art was interesting and science was boring because she is a girl. Case closed! I fully support equal pay obviously and the feminist movement has been responsible for some important changes - but like every "cause" it has been prone to hijack by political activists who want far more than parity. Shame really. But in answer to the question I would be more yes than no.
But that's the difference. They would complain if you swap the term women for men. This week was national women in science week
Far too sensible post for this time of night! But in all seriousness did anyone see Jordan Peterson demolish the channel 4 newsreader about a month back? It's a long ish video but worth a watch if you have a spare 30 minutes.
The debate around equal pay is not honest IMO. Of course if you do the sane job you should get the same pay, but its not that straight forward Eg my manager was female got paid more than I did, got seconded to another job I took her place but less experience meant I started in a lesser scale. No issue as far as I was concerned. Same happened with a woman who took over and she was all "I get paid less due to being a woman". No you don't ****er
Will watch that later. The debate around equal pay changes depending on age groups etc. Women taking time out to raise kids do fall behind, but its not a conspiracy
