There is NO ****ING WAY that we were going to be drawn at home. Given that the semi-finals are being played at our temporary home. The internet would have melted if we'd been at home to Swansea/Sheff Wed. Given that, I'm happy enough with the draw.
And of course we won't play at home as that would be too much of an advantage that the FA would need to answer for.
I'm far too lazy to do anything about it but in future can you all start making new threads for important news. It gets confusing otherwise as there's a lot of different places they can go and this, for example, needs a new title now but if I edit that then people might think it's a new thread and wonder why everyone's talking about the previous draw for the first 3 pages. Anyway, I know this happened before but why the **** was this draw done before all the matches were played? Is it so difficult to organise a draw after the Monday night game? Why are City even playing on a Monday anyway? Well at least it wasn't on the One Show I suppose, so that's a small improvement.
So the remaining big 4 all avoid each other and yet again we don’t play at our temporary home of Wembley. Any good mathmaticians around who can tell me the odds of that happening? I’m all ears!
Arsenal, City, Utd and Chelsea managed to avoid each other in the Carabao Cup Q-F too! The odds of the big four remaining teams avoiding each other in both competitions is 6/105 x 6/105 = 36/11025= 0.3% 330/1
Add in last year as well. Although there you had 5 out of 8. so two had to meet, but only two did. Making sure that four of the big six were in the semis.
