Ferguson had most of the British PL managers rolling over for him, Klopp can have one friend now

Lossl is the worst keeper ever, watches Lukaku running from 50 yards away and still doesn't move until the ball is past him

Tired old Steve McClaren is getting a bit carried away with himself, "devastating".<laugh>

    Steve McClaren

Ex-England manager on BBC Radio 5 live

Manchester United are winning because they have dealt with everything Huddersfield have thrown at them in deference.

"And their front three have been devastating". That's how they win games.

It's a different era now, its not Sir Alex Ferguson. It's Mourinho's now - this is how he wins matches and wins trophies.

This is a different way of winning. United fans were complaining a few years ago that they weren't winning matches. Mourinho is developing this team - he got them back in the Champions League.

He literally did nothing. Come out to close down the angle. Dive at his feet before he shoots. Anything but remain planted for the entire time it took for Lukaku to run from his own half and shoot.

    Klopp
“It’s been very good – it couldn’t be better, to be honest.

It’s better than we could have expected; as you can imagine, if you win such an important game like Porto, usually you go home and it’s business as usual because the next game is waiting. Now, we didn’t have that situation so we could enjoy one night to think about it and realise how special it was – because it was special – and then coming here.

“Since we are here, the weather has been great,we’ve enjoyed each session and each hour since we are here. If you cannot enjoy it, you are a poor person! It’s all good so far.”

Sounds like a piss up to me :)
Edit. I didn’t put the bold bits in btw :)

Really a shame that Klopp didn’t take the FA cup seriously. This year it is wide open. We could have won it as we are a good cup team this season. We win and draw more games than anyone else and lose very few matches.

It is open for the Manchester clubs to win it.

Just reading about the ‘controversal’ decision which showed that mata was offside? Surely not that controversial ten is it?

    Ha ha

Tbf he took his 2 chances well. Clinical and did the work and finishing himself. Nothing flukey at all. His goals were almost Salaesque today, :bandit:

The controversy was in the time it took and the uncertainty about the way the var ref came to his conclusion. The FA is really making a dogs dinner of the whole thing. To me it is an important addition to the referee’s tools. But it needs to breed confidence like the goal line system. apparently the offside decision is about FACT. that is it shouldn’t be subject to interpretation. The decision ultimately was correct,

But why doesn’t the FA publicise this instead of repeating to all that the VAR is only there to overule clear cut mistaken decisions. That offside wasn’t that mistaken, especially when giving the attacking player the benefit of the doubt.

Nah, Lukaku has been doing this for years in the PL, he isn’t a Kane style flash in the pan.
