Even Cool Runnings couldn't come up with a plot like this! http://www.bbc.com/sport/winter-olympics/43058774
I gave up with the speed skating, as I disagreed with most of the decisions in the heats. Really bizarre sport.
I enjoy the fact that luge is basically the national winter sport of Germany, and they absolutely dominate the podium every Olympics, but they rarely medal in skeleton.

I do feel sorry for Elise Christie - bad luck seems to follow her around. However I do think her tactics lead to these situations arising - she puts herself in difficult positions and then goes all out to recover from them. Crashes tend to only happen when a racer takes a risk - and she seems to be in that position in every race
Yeah I do agree with that. She feeds off the aggression, but it does end up with this sort of thing happening.
That's the 4 medals that they were set as the minimum target to ensure continued funding. Of course, no reason not to get more.
Here’s hoping. Was shocking to hear the guy doing the luge was at a disadvantage because the equipment he was using isn’t up to scratch (compared with the German team etc). I mean, really, that’s a nonsense for a team like GB.
