It wasn’t long ago they released an article saying that had already approached TGI Friday anyway. Either the vote is just a publicity stunt or are all the options are interested.
There’s no way they’d include one who wasn’t interested, cos if they win the vote then it’s bad publicity. I’d imagine all 4 are interested and wouldn’t be surprised if all 4 came. It would be a good message for PQ to announce all 4 at once ‘due to popular demand’.
I've heard that the Hotel has pulled out of this development, so it will be converted into apartments.
Chap who started Pret also started a small chain called Itsu, really good but only a handful of outlets in the south. A combined Pret/Itsu outlet would be brilliant, but unlikely.
Because a Pret isn’t really something to get excited about. They do alright food - I like the Mac n cheese - but you can’t throw a stick in any city centre without hitting one. I’m amazed Hull hasn’t got one.
Itsu is all over the shop, ****loads in London and they have it in Leeds. It is good food. Edit - just seen it has 70 stores in England.
But that’s the point. Pret does decent food for that type of thing, but the main thing is that Hull hasn’t had one before and getting one shows confidence in the city
FFS Every journey starting with a single step and all that It’s certainly not a bad thing so ****ing relax
