How's that then? The point being that my reasoning here is just another perspective on what's happening at the club. My points stand up to scrutiny as much as several negative articles that have been posted on here. The same way you view the goings on in a very negative fashion they can be viewed quite positively as well. Or did you not get that from the disclaimer, I thought I'd made it very clear?

I dont see the goings on in a negative way. I see them as they are. If they happen to be negative than thats how I see it. If they happen to be positive thats how I see it.

I understand looking at things in a different perspective and different point of view. But dont say 'these views aren't necessarily of the OP', kills the article straight away. Why right something you don't believe in? Optimistic or not.

    Just saying.

    :D

Only in your opinion, just because it's your opinion doesn't make it right. You missed the point which is not everyone views what has happened with a negative view.
You've never heard of playing devil's advocate? Seeing both sides of an arguement even if you don't agree with every part of each side's arguement?

Difference is, the as yet unidentified other club aren't being paid for it. <ok>

It's so the team photo matches the kit.

Sorry, before I read it can you stipulate whether this is the first five year plan, the second five year plan, the third five year plan or the fourth five year plan. Also, is it based on the Arsenal model, the Everton model or the Villa model (all of which look like bad models to emulate if you ask me)?

This article is us there with some of the best I've read.
Really uplifting thanks mate, this is what I like to believe too.
And I really think that this is true as well, people see Ashley as a stupid, fat, ******ed, Jaba The Hut like, cocksucking bellend but he can't be that much of a loser if he's got to where he is today.

Shoot me down to the ground and scatter my brains about if you wish because I HAVE FAITH IN MIKE ASHLEY.
    For now.

If only we were getting hundreds of millions for the pleasure like they are. Hell at the minute, £1 would be better than what we're getting for the sponsorship! Only Newcastle I tell thee. We're like America, anything is possible!

As I said though, the naming rights are up for grabs, anyone who makes a decent offer can have the naming rights to the ground. They made it so long winded enough (SportsDirect@SJP) that the world and his mother will still call it St James's though, if someone else has it they can put big signs up calling it whatever they like it'll still be known as St James's. It's very clever if you think about it.

If Quinn follows this example; can we get a consortium on here to re-name it "NUFC win again @ SoL"

Nice collection of Ashley supporters on this thread mind - lead of course by the Ashley sycophant and spin merchant Alfie who is remorsless in his adoration.

Seriously - do you work for Sportsdirect Alf?

Nothing wrong with viewing the positives of certain happenings. I certainly don't imagine anybody here is an 'Ashley supporter' because theyre agreeing with an alternative to "Cockney mafia hate us and want make laughing stock with puppet pardoo". There's been plenty of gloomy articles recently and I don't see why there can't be a positive one without people being branded as 'Ashley supporters'.

Global I.T. company myself - our bonus scheme is crap but the salary is okay and we get shares.

@ skalpel; agree in principle but when someone is relentless spinning in Ashley's favour you have to wonder.

I know i'm not always right. But I certainly see the wood from the trees in most things. Just because you can't see it doesn't make me wrong either.

I always see both sides of the argument. In everything. Its a gift.

I see every decision Ashley and DL make from their point of view, which is why I loathe them so much. I know exactly what they are doing, what's true statements to false, whats tripe and whats real, I see where they are coming from through their eyes. Its this reason why I bash them so much. Whether they make good calls or mainly bad calls. What doesn't change; is they are pathetic.

If you need to know the real reason why Barton is leaving on a free transfer its this:

Ash and DL have a vision of a european type squad, with a european type model. The last thing they want is an honest outspoken member of the squad who is capable of criticising there 'vision' and gathering unrest with the fans. As far as they are concerned Joey Barton could have scored 30 goals last year and they would still get rid, they dont care. They dont care that Barton may or may not be our best player, or most important player, just get out.

All this talk of Twitter is an excuse to get rid of him because his face doesn't fit. Just like Hughton, just like Nolan and even Carroll to some extent.

Its our way or the highway. End of.

In their tunnel vision european style eyes, they are making mistakes with certain team members like Barton. Alan Pardew, the players and 90% of the fans know how important Barton is to our team and don't want him to leave. They dont, and they dont care.

So even if they harm the team, they dont care. Which I think is wrong as a NUFC supporter. I want my team to move forward, not sideways or backwards.

Utter balderdash. How do you know the thought process behind the decision making of the board of Newcastle? You're now talking utter twaddle. It was bad when you were just negative now you're just looking like a buffoon. Who are you? Mystic Meg?
With regards to Barton, if you were a successfull businessman who had invested quarter of a billion pounds in a business and one of your key staff publically slagged you off you'd get rid. No one player is bigger than the club, something Barton seems to have forgotten. He can go to QPR and be a big fish in a small pond, the so called offers from the big clubs was obviously spin by his agent.
