Going to take you on there Stick, with:

Elite Shadow. Looks progressive and Clifford Lee's 3lb claim may be useful.

    Good luck.

Unlucky mate, I am in the zone tonight. Thats the first two in my trixie!

I really rather fancy Chelseas horse in the next. I watched that race a few times that five of these were in and think he can come out best of that group. The one that concerns me wasnt in that race last time. Gloriux, I have covered them both.

Was just gonna say I'll then go and buy myself a Sherbert Dip out the winnings, but realised 10p probably wouldn't buy me a penny snake these days!!!

Reebs, good shout fella, followed the forum nag but not to be today. Rebecca's horses seem to be running rather erratic at the moment.
Backed Harbour Patrol last night and ran a stinker. Always another day for Foxy!

Just took the 11/2 a place for Sbraase at Dundalk. It will come good sooner rather than later, too well handicapped, and if he ever got back to some of his UK AW form, he'd be very well handicapped indeed!!
Not sure a mile suits, but it's due!!

Okay, the usual wealth warning, although as friend-of-a-friend tips go I think most could have picked this one: Newcastle 8:45 Breathoffreshair

It was well beaten last time over seven furlongs but won the three before that, including its penultimate race over course and distance; that is why it will be favourite for the finale.

Mick, like everyone here, I wish you the best of luck and hopefully a quick victory over the big C and a return to rude health. Maintaining a positive outlook could be very critical to you so it is good to see you showing fighting spirit on here.

You will know from some of my postings that I am a very harsh, realistic actual fact person much of the time, so do not take offence at me telling you this. A couple of years ago, I lost a friend to mouth/throat cancer, who had been fighting it for five years. He had chemotherapy, all sorts of drugs and surgery, at one point not being able to speak because of throat surgery. After mouth surgery, his jaw had been wired so that he could not actually eat solids – living on (medically prescribed) protein drinks (and beer!). The terrible thing in his case was that he passed a couple of weeks after the oncologists had told him that they were going to un-wire his jaw because he was in remission. He never gave up until he was re-admitted to hospital a few days before the end. We have made massive advances in cancer treatments but to some extent, I still think you need a lot of luck. If one of our friends in the Emerald Isle can send you some of their luck, I am sure you would gratefully receive it.
