which is may so if west brom stick him out on a pitch in 2 weeks time and he lasts 5 minutes and is then out 3 months = end of loan then that should be tough on them but i'm sure they will wriggle out of it.

I do kind of feel bad for Sturridge as undoubtedly some of his issues aren't really his fault, he can't help being born with the body he's got

But I don't get why we're so obsessed with it and keep talking about it as for me he's not our player any more, only in the sense that we need to permanently sell him, he won't be coming back to Liverpool so on a playing level this is all another team's problem now, unless we struggle to shift him !!

I called for him to be replaced in the summer. Luckily Firmino has taken his game up a notch since last season so Sturridge's injuries didn't matter so much, but i still think we need another striker

Feel sorry for the lad, boat loads of talent ruined by injury after injury. In saying that, he's earned a lot of money too, so not all bad

 

Should spend some of that money on a good shrink

The guy has a lot of talent but just cannot stay fit.

Trouble is now we will struggle to sell him.

 

I think he's only out for a couple of weeks, so hopefully between now and the end of the season he can convince somebody to take a chance
and we may get £20m or similar. With his big wage it is all a drain on our resources and his squad place could be better used.

 

if he plays I will be shocked and if we fetch 5 mil off him I will be shocked.

I am really pessimistic of anyone taking a risk on him at all. he would be.mad to move after wc as he won't get the same wages. should go on loan to suit himself.

Really don't get why we didn't try and sell him in the summer. He isn't good enough anymore and it was clear he would barely feature

 

The price we quoted was too high. If we were ready to sell him for £10m he would be gone by now.

 

i agree with tbe sentiment but feel his wages were always an issue to get a deal done
