Central, near the station. Looking to move out to one of the surrounding villages in the next year or two though. Where are you based?

Do get the impression that there are a lot of shady posters on here with something to hide, if you know what I mean...

    :bandit:

Why else are people moving so often and so far? Might have to be more careful in future. Don’t want to be invited to MacDonalds in Kalibata Mall by some mafia hoodlum.

Born in the General, grew up in Fenham and then joined the ranks of those moving about. Spent my teens and early 20s on the west coast of Scotland, then had spells living in Atlanta, Abingdon, Oxford, Carterton, Daventry, Leamington, Nuneaton, Stoke, and Cheshire, gradually moving further north until I found myself more or less back home in Willington Quay. Haven't moved in 7 years now, which is a record for me.

Spent the first 21 years of my life on Spennymoor and the next 27 in sunny Crook.

Both towns are 50/50 mags/mackems split. Winning derby days down the pub were great.<party>

Yes, the magical world of hotel hospitality, long hours, low pay and insane amounts of alcohol.

Was just thinking that with all of those places in common there is a good chance I've enjoyed your hospitality at some point!

Crown and Thistle Abingdon, worked at Sketchley Grange, Bosworth Hall and Weston Hall while in Nuneaton, drank a hell of a lot in the Jailhouse on Chapel Street, there wasn't a shopping centre there then just a car park opposite, Oxford was the Randolph, Daventry was a big conference centre now a 4 star hotel with golf club Staverton Park was it's name then and Leamington I worked at the Falstaff and Stoneleigh Park. I also worked in Derbyshire, Surrey, London, Manchester, Liverpool, Cumbria, County Durham, Northumberland, Hereford, Kent, Sussex, Cambridgeshire, Devon, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire and Loch Lomond.

The only one of those I remember being in was the Randolph a few times, mainly between 97 and 02. My only stint in the hotel trade was working for a hotel on Loch Lomond - the Tullichewan in Balloch. It was a complete dive.
