There's more at stake than 3 points Jules. We need to make a stand for our integrity, and the integrity of the fans of Clubs heading in our direction. The protests need to happen becasue Ehab keeps repeating that he has :- A. Agreed the reintroduction of concessions in accordance with Premier League ruling (as there are no concessionary requirements in the Football League) (this is meaningless because 'Premier Leauge ruling' doesn't apply to us so he hasn't moved on concessions and I don't suppose he will). So no change. B. Agreed to consult with fans on the redesign of the Club Crest. (He hasn't. He promised to do this before. It's common knowledge that he hoodwinked the fans and didn't, so I don't supppose he will) So no change. C. Agreed to amend existing brand guidelines as per the fans’ reasonable wishes. (With a caveat that his staff must understand what 'fans reasonable wishes means'. What does that even mean? Anyway, he hasn't so, again I don't suppose he will. So no change. Nothings changed. He's changed nothing, but thinks we should. Oh hang on,...he's convinced the readership of the HDM and anyone that listens to 'Burnsie' <ffs> that HCST are a militant wing.
He should start talking or hiring Martin Fish, he knows all about this. Gain a few tips. No idea what old Ehab would have done at Boothferry when pitch invasions were normal! Fish out! Dolan out!
Just don't go to the game would be best It would get noticed and it would get publicity and fans wouldn't get blamed for anything That would be the best protest But to many would not boycott even 1 game. ALLAMS threat to play being locked gates would piss the council off maybe ?? After all the ALLAMS don't own the stadium . He just owns the players contracts The Kcom would be a good place to start AFC Hull City Just pissed of I trusted the ****s for so long and believed they were great owners longer then most..
Probably the best solution, if whistles are to be used, or something thrown onto the pitch to disrupt things, is to start blowing or throwing them just before the kick off for the second half. That way the play would be delayed starting, but wouldn't disrupt the flow of the game.
I thought we weren’t posting protest ideas in here? FFS - I’ve now had to cancel with the buffalo herd hire shop.
What bigger picture? I think all of this is losing perspective. The Allams have done their bit to change our club, which may well end up with Hull City being a League 1 team, or worse. Is it really appropriate for the loyal supporters, who continue to attend, to be labelled as the ones responsible for accelerating or ultimately causing that change? The fans will not all agree on this, far from it. I know that the majority of supporters I have spoken to were against any repeat of match disruption. It was pointed out to me, by OLM, that the HCAG are not necessarily the ones behind these protests - well blow me down, because that is certainly not as it has been portrayed on here, and elsewhere. Perhaps they should make their own statement, instead of using the Trust and this board as an occasional shield. 3 points are everything, football is just about the only sensible thing left in all of this - if you can maintain your interest in it. Survival is huge and far more meaningful in ridding the club of the Allams than a whistle-blowing protest. Match disruption and the resultant fallout between supporters is the very last thing the city, the club and football needs. Folk need to start looking at the real bigger picture, not the one the Allams or some nameless, undefined action group are painting on social media.
I know exactly what he is like and I don't like it either but there has to be a way of protesting without disrupting the game. At the moment I think players like Myeler understand what we are about, probaby a few more current ex players also know but if we stop the game in full flow when points are at stake then we will lose their good will also. It will divide the stadium even more and anyone in Hull or surrounding areas that does not closely follow what is going on will see the headlines and the pictures and just label us as hooligans thus giving Eham exactly what he wants.
Chortle. That old chestnut! How many times has some turd wheeled out that bogus threat? Protest on. They don't like it up 'em.
Ehab has shown he listens to disruptive protests. That's what started all this consultation. It's the one thing that after 5 years of Allam crap, they actually listen to. He's so firmly on the back foot now that he has to weakly claim that it was ''the reaction of the majority of supporters" rather than the protests themselves which brought him to the table. He's convincing no one with that. Without a doubt, peaceful protests don't bother or affect him one bit. There's only a bad atmosphere after these protests if people decide to make one. Booing one's fellow fan and turning it into a fan on fan argument is where it gets embarrassing and negative. Ehab has yet another chance to prevent protests; one of the proposed dates for this new meeting is next Monday. So he could finally action some meaningful changes ahead of the game and then there won't be protests. If he doesn't do that because his pride and spite are more important than having a peaceful match, then why on earth should supporters turn down an opportunity to do something that we know influences him? Just let I play out and see what happens. It only gets negative when people with the reservations you're talking about get vocal with booing it. If the match was abandoned that would affect Ehab way more than anyone else. The authorities would be all over him to sort his issues out. The situation at this club is such a mess that quite frankly, three points aren't as important as the issue with the owners.
To think the best run club in the EFL flirting with relegation again and the possibility of mass protests. Bloody militant fans I say it’s all our fault.
Still no news of tickets on the website for the Sheff utd game, it would appear that the Allam's are quite worried about adverse(national) publicity, can they as owners, take a hit and not put tickets for home fans on sale.
Got a non-member friend to email about Sheff Utd tickets (I'm probably blacklisted for getting them told off by the ASA and IFO). They said they aren't on sale yet and they hope to announce further details later today.
