Just wonder if anyone can help me with a point of etiquette? How do you 'dress'? You know, 'dress' ..... Is it tucked into a box, left leg, right leg, underneath or perhaps more 'stiffer' and up front? Would that affect aero dynamics and shave a few hundredths off my time? Any sensible comments would be much appreciated. I thank you in advance.
Standard top of the sock tuck I’d think
Cross country skiing is about as knackering as sport gets. The athletes have the best lung capacities in sport. If you go too quickly, your pulse is too high and you mess up the shooting.
I think you’ve missed my point - I’m not disputing how physical it is, I’m asking why they stop to do some shooting? As I said, they don’t stop the marathon to fire a few rounds and then start running again.
Literally the only one I didn’t want to win the slopestyle was the bloody jumped up Yankee child. Tsk.
Happened upon it after MOTD last night and laughed at how daft it was, 10 minutes later absolutely gripped and now just spent the best part of the last couple of hours watching today’s culmination of the China vs Norway curling mixed doubles play off on the red button. It’s what I love about any Olympics, summer, winter, indeed the best of any sport. The human drama and the amazing level of skill just draws you in and before you know it you’re turning to your better half and commenting like a seasoned pundit on the finer points of summat you didn’t even know existed half an hour ago.
Just watched the Women’s slopestyle highlights and the commentator went full Partridge, describing “liquid snowboarding”. That Anna Gasser is alright.
Anyone watching the curling? It’s the kind of sport that you literally forget exists for all but one week every 4 years. Eve Muirhead was pictured here describing Ehab’s cock size.
