Aye me too, pancakes the way my granny used to make em just don't cut it anymore since I became all sophisticated and ****.
Savoury crepes preferably with added bacon. Do like a wee fried pancake with my cooked breakfast on occasion though.
Years since I had a pancake. Used to go to a pancake restaurant on the Royal Mile. Dunno if it's still there.
Noooooooo **** that. Mare bacon or mushrooms or creme cheese and garlic. Sweet stuff is for kids and ****y type *****s
I’ve made my own waffles before. Served with crispy streaky bacon and cheesey scrambled egg. Amazing but kills my stomach. #coeliac
I am the f.ucking Pancake MASTER!! Not much that I can brag about but it has to be said I can whip up a mean crepe. I also do the American fluffy ones too. Strictly fresh lemon juice and sugar on the normal pancakes but Aunt Jemima's original syrup on the Yank ones. Optional extras are bananas, ice cream, chopped nuts, fruit, various sauces, maple syrup etc depending on what's in the house going spare. Got a waffle maker for the kids at Christmas, it uses the same mixture as the American pancakes but is as messy as f.uck to use. Not had blue ones yet.
