i thought it criminal that the sacked pulis and put in megson who immediatley started them on a decent little run playing freely and he gave sam field a go but then they appoint pardew and he drops the kid like a hot snot. Thye might be too far gone.. .they might win 5 in a row and shoot out of it. who knows in this league but imo Pardew is a twat and sturridge won't help them one iota.
fair dos. Maybe he's never been given the chance to get out of these spells (as they normally coincide with his sacking) but these spells are pretty long ones (15 games + i think).
like allardyce? no but seriously. there seems to be a list of managers who keep turning up like a bad penny. Moyes (on his last legs surely) hodgson Allardyce Pulis Pardew Hughton Hughes will be back in soon, so will bilic. silva, puel and flores seem popular now as the lesser clubs foreign romance. Funnily the only one who's not turned back up is bobby martinez who is now beligan manager unitl the world cup goes tits up. Rodgers is having it easy in scotland. koemans rans to holland for an easy ride, Its only a matter of time before one or all of these names manage half the clubs in the bottom half of the table. Eddie Howe and Sean dyche are the only guys who are sticking at a job and showing clubs can be stable and keep a manager and build something.
from what i have seen is he gets a good 6 months max, gets complacent and it goes tits up... or he buys ****e and it goes tits up. Or he headbutts someone. or he falls out with someone.
We all knew deep down that is what he would do any way dribs. He has royally ****ed himself up with how fragile he is though (physical or mental?) If his next contract he gets offered isn't pay as you play type be very surprised. Still, the **** is in a more privileged position than all of us!!
there are always teams desperate enough to get him and play him. Happens with any talent even if they are always injured!
I think a lot of it is due to his mental state, his mannerisms and attitude have been questionable since Klopp arrived, i can't remember him being in a constant state of injury when Suarez was here, in our runners up season in particular?
Yep. When he had suarez and Sterling doing the main pressing he did seem to play more. Basically he is a lazy **** lol.
loads of teams wanted to loan him and next year if they can get him for free, you can bet there will be a load of average premier league clubs (maybe even the likes of everton) who will be chomping at the bit to sign him
sturridges contract is up at the end of the year right? I guarantee right now there will be clubs in the PL who will be attempting to sign him permanantly
Of course they will if he is free. He will hardly play, and not having to pay a transfer fee will soften the blow for when he hurts his little pinkey. No one is saying he is ****e, but if he is as reliable as you are trying to make out someone would have tried to buy him by now ffs. Loan deal is less of a gamble. He should be on a pay as you play contract and see how injured he actually is then!! At least with Carroll he was properly injured and not ****ed in the head!!!
he should be on a pay as you play contract but i disagree with your original stance that he won't get paid a fat contract. Some muggins will and they will pay him a good whack (not as good as he is on now)
