Bit far to travel for a friendly! http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Pompey-To-Face-Real-Betis-2494.aspx
Huseklepp has good memories from Spain... please log in to view this image Guardado (Deportivo La Coruna) ran out of options to stop Huseklepp in Branns 2-0 win in the uefa cup.
With no scheduled match for Pompey between 27 August and 10 September I can't see a problem with this. I think it's better to be playing a match rather than milling about at the training ground. On top of that, I think it's a superb gesture on the part of Real Betis to arrange the game.
Agreed, new found respect for Real Betis - coming over here expecting to play us, got cancelled "I know lads, lets go and give the boys at havant a match - that will be a treat for them" - pure class!
Is she any good at anagrams? You could always say you have a Sale Biter conference at the Sere It Lab on Brae Islet Do you reckon she will buy it?
Apparently, Cotterill wanted to go to Spain so as to make sure no-one left our club and signed for another club- so the exact opposite !! Personally, I can't see anyone coming in Today- but I hope I'm Surprised
Probably ashame that half the squad haven't flown out though! Number of players haven't flown due to the international break and Benji and Moks couldnt get a visa to travel to Spain due to the bank holiday. SC has said he doubts anyone will be moving in or out of PFC today though! DL is flying out to Spain this evebning to watch the friendly - so I think we can safely say that nothing new will be happening at Pompey today On a different note - Ryan Bertrand is rumoured to be signing for Bristol City today on loan - thought we were after some of these Chelski youngsters? Kind of shows that a bottle of wine with Boas didn't do the trick last month!
