he's freaking ancient and hasn't the legs mate. Terry headed for the championship for the life of a just head it away merchant. Barry stuck in prem and imo has been an issue for west brom.

They started out this season with evans and the like with a good start and have ended up 7 points from safety relying on daniel sturridge.

I agree jay rod is a decent player but that knee injury too 3 years out of his career where he was just looking like maybe being jamie vardy role for england. Under rated sure... what he was... probably not.

I just don't know any more cos swansea were absolutely dead and buried on jan 1. They are now up there. Palace were dead and buried before hodgson came in, they zoomed to safety and now are spiralling back in.

Bournemouth looked in real trouble suddenly get to 31 points with a great then then tank at huddersfield who looked in real trouble

Any of them could go down but the be 7 points off safety will 11 to go is very serious.

Its highly unpredictable at the moment. But one this is for sure west brom have got to have a go tonight as games are fast running out.

Like burnely went to sleep and have not won a game in 6 or 7. they are now on 36 points and crawling to 40. nobody is really commenting on that

    By all thats logcial

Hudderfield are the weakest first team in the battle IMO. only home form can keep them up.
West brom are in the **** and will do to final day at best due to having so many points to make up
Southampton should be ashamed as they have bags of talent.
Stoke terrible defence. and manager appointment was idiotic IMO
Brighton. Don't rate hughton. they have real fight in that team though.. Hopefully safe before final day <laugh> I think they won't be though

West ham, Watford, Bournemouth seem to have just enough about them to get out of the real danger zone.

Newkie, palace and swansea seem to have organisation on their side now. all 3 have same issue. goals. none have scored enough to get out of the danger zone.

If i were betting i would go west brom, stoke, huddersfield

Brighton as the other struggler and if southampton show ANY fight at all they will be safe. Just stick 2 up and play with those wide men and full backs to them.

IMO any decent manager would keep southampton up.

Just a quick note on the table:

    • LFC home record

7-6-0 goals scored 27 goals conceded 9. (5th best record) 2.08 points average

Draws: burnely, utd, cheslea, everton, westbrom, tottenham

    • LFC away record

8-3-3 goals scored 34 goals conceded 22. (2nd best record) 1.94 points average.

    draws: watford, newcastle, arsenal
    Losses: city, spurs, swansea

Just to put that in context: only bad result at home was west brom in terms of playing a bottom half side. The others were all top half or direct rivals.

    • LFC Home fixtures:
west ham, newcastle, watford, bournemouth, stoke, brighton (6 games)

    • LFC away fixtures:
Utd, palace, everton, west brom, cheslea (5 games)

    Comments:

IMO we have an easy run in compared to some. Our home games will be hard fought but its OUR FORTRESS and we should be winning all 6. 5-1-0 would be acceptable no?

Our away games seem to more suit us if sides open up a bit and attack and we counter. None of those are easy away games though imo. we need to win I think 2 or 3 of them.

    2-3-0 would be ace.

    so thats 16+10 = 26 points.

    lets say 22-26 points range then 54+ 22 to 26 = 76 to 80 points.

I think we can do it but we need a great run at home.
    west ham, park bus
    newcastle, park bus
    watford, can't defend for toffee
    bournemouth, can't defend for toffee
stoke, struggling badly. could be desperate for points
brighton, as stoke. hopefully either down or safe by last day.

different challenges in each game but these are our 18 points and they are coming to rob us <grr>

I read the start and the end...

I think brighton will just have enough but they’ve got a horrible run of fixtures coming up so need a few favours.

Thing is wih everyone down there, even if you lose 2/3 in a row, because so many teams involved that you don’t really lose ground on many people. It’s now like you lose 3 games and suddenly your 6 points from safety.

O can see 6/7 teams still being in trouble going into last couple of weeks easily.

Dunno mate, hughtons long and unimpressive history in the prem has always had the same issue. lack of goals.

Deffo anyone winning 2/3 like bournemouth did will shoot out of danger fast.

some sides have done this to themselves royally. some are trying their best.

I just looked at brightons fixtures again... WOW.... I started thinking ok march dig in and then get a few easier games but then ouch.. last 5.

    Palace away
    Spurs home
    burnely away
    Utd home
    Liverpool away

you need to get points now. swansea, arsenal everton, city, leicester, huddersfield ... YEEK!

Balotelli booked for bringing the ref's attention to racist chanting. Unbelievable. When is football going to present a united regulatory stance on the issue.

Saw that earlier. Ridiculous. How can you book someone for being racially abused? Bit like the ref sending a player off for being tripped up... by the ref!

really should be targeting 16 pts minimum from the home games. Then look to get minimum of 8 pts from away. That would give us 78 minimum which the way things are going would probably be enough.

With the current poor form of Chelsea and United wobbling a bit, I reckon you’re a sound bet for top 4 now.

It'd be an amazing finish to season if that didn't get 4th or 3rd.

    Cheslea:
    CHELSEA VS WEST BROM
    MANCHESTER UNITED VS CHELSEA
    MANCHESTER CITY VS CHELSEA
    CHELSEA VS CRYSTAL PALACE
    BURNLEY VS CHELSEA
    CHELSEA VS TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
    CHELSEA VS WEST HAM UNITED
    SOUTHAMPTON VS CHELSEA
    CHELSEA VS HUDDERSFIELD TOWN
    SWANSEA CITY VS CHELSEA
    CHELSEA VS LIVERPOOL
    NEWCASTLE UNITED VS CHELSEA

    UTD (for the deluded)

    Man Utd v Chelsea
    Crystal Palace v Man Utd
    Man Utd v Liverpool
    West Ham v Man Utd
    Man Utd v Swansea
    Man City v Man Utd
    Man Utd v West Brom
    Bournemouth v Man Utd
    Man Utd v Arsenal
    Brighton v Man Utd
    Man Utd v watford

    Spurs:
    Crystal Palace v Spurs
    Spurs v Huddersfield
    Bournemouth v Spurs
    Spurs v Newcastle
    Chelsea v Spurs
    Stoke v Spurs
    Spurs v Man City
    Brighton v Spurs
    Spurs v Watford
    West Brom v Spurs
    Spurs v Leicester

I'll leave it you you lads to predict what you think each of them will get. Cheslea have the most big games left, followed by utd, then spurs have 2 and we have 2.

Yes mate. If Liverpool are involved, throw the book at them. No matter how long it takes to find the evidence.

Supposedly. The refs can't pick and choose which laws/official procedures they apply, they have to apply them all, as and when. Whatever anyone thinks of Balotelli as a player or a person, he's had dog's abuse [racist related] at most places he's played. When the match officials resort to not even ignoring his complaints but booking him for it, he must feel very alone. Shame.
