Last weekend one of my best mates suggested to me in total seriousness that Morgan should be prime minister. I feel like a wedge has been driven between us forever.

Having had a history with us he may or may not be looking our way .. however as a saleable outfit and one which would tickle the taste buds of potential mega rich owners I'd say the like of the white shyte.. the Sheffield clubs Derby Nottingham .. or even Sunderland would be far more attractive. Given the fan bases of their clubs .. capacity of grounds etc. While I love the club I am a realist and realise to outside investors we are not such a great proposition.

There is all that but we’re also / or should be, debt free. I can’t imagine many Championship clubs can say that.

Add in to that we have unrealistic owners who would want a Kings ransom for a failing club .. debt free or not. I sincerely hope there is light at the end of the tunnel alas the ****wits are a major stumbling block

None of that should matter. It just means we're worth less and the sale would cost less. People buy **** cars, clothes and footballers but pay less than they would for better ones. I don't get why people think football clubs are different.

The previous owners had nowhere near the amount of money pass through their hands as the Allams, 600 million according to Obi.
The allams could have spent a bit more on the training facilities rather than just stealing the Airco Arena for example.

Leeds recently purchased.... Sunderland in debt to their eyeballs .... Forest recently purchased... Derby, the owners life and he seemingly doesn't need the money... Wednesday and Blades don't know...

May have something to do with the potential of premier league money at the end of the tunnel .. you don't buy a banger then turn it into something that can bring in the amounts that the EPL can bring. The people who look to invest in clubs these days are in the most part looking for that golden goose.

I would say the fan base of those clubs is a better attraction for those looking to buy a Championship club as well as the stadium issue.

So you're saying that buying a less valuable club is even more worthwhile in this particular market than other ones where it happens all the time.

The Blunts are 50% owned by a Saudi Prince who I believe is trying to get a major shareholding. Wednesday are owned by a Thai businessman who isn't exactly flavour of the month with a couple of .Wedbesday fans who go in my local. Or did go in as one is banned now.

I would suggest investing in a club where some of the finances can be offset against bumper crowds would be a far better option.
