there is no answer until it all goes tits up. Sky are getting so expensive that its all got to go and there is a huge race between services and pirates now I can see netflix or amazon buying rights next. In many ways the current incumbents are ridiculous. A satellite company who restrict access and a phoine company... who want to be a broadband service provider.. but have no content but this. I can see the money going absolutely made is a netflix decides to enter the sports arena. The issue is faceless owners who don't give a crap about the original fans are out to make a killing and buying up clubs.
You're not wrong Donga . I paid for Sky last year , will have it this year , but after that no more . We can afford it , but I cannot justify it , and the way F1 is going , I may as well dig a hole in the garden and chuck the money in there !
Loved F1 back in the 80's with Mansell, Keke Rosberg, Piquet and all that. I think Hamilton is the best brit ever, but only watch it now if I'm off and doing nothing else. Then again, F1, like cricket, was on terrestrial telly at the time.
We’ve been crying out for two up top all season. Gabbiadini is still class, but clearly Pellegrino doesn’t understand how to use him. But then, I fear he doesn’t understand much. Nice bloke and all that, but....
yeah... you just need to go for it. you've enough there on that first half to win games but you need more fight. IMO our second goal meant you gave up. second half you didn't come out. you were all over us first half.
It a bit of a Michael Owen one, but drugs and not gambling by all accounts. See if he is shipped out in the summer for an indication.
I agree I didn’t think they were great but wasn’t all their fault. Saints got crosses in from wide because their full backs were pushed on and Salah / Mane weren’t doing enough to help out and midfield weren’t pushing across. Saints wide players were tucked in so both TAA and Robbo were quite narrow and leaving that space. Saying that, they both didn’t do well from crosses into the box when they were at the back post, problem with having short full backs who aren’t great in the air.
Nobody for the last 25 years has been in this for anything else other than money, especially in the premier league. Imagine a league of Bill Kenwrights
There's something not right there though. The injury just seems shrouded in mystery. Shame. His first season with us he was international class, but he's been slipping ever since. I don't expect we'll see him again this season, and look what an extended spell off did for Berahino.
Shame if that’s true, as he’s a good player. He wouldn’t be the first to be suckered into it within the VIP football circles though. It’s still sortable though.
Both Robbo and, to a greater extent, TAA were let down in that first half by Mane and Salah not tracking back. In Salah's case, he just looked nonchalantly on. Ox and Windy didn't offer too much either.
What iratates me in this (hope it's not club related ffs) these ****ers are in a privileged position of earning more than we do in a year most earn in a week. Also do these ****s still get paid if they are taking the piss? Normally (use the term loosely on here ) if I take the piss at work i will get disciplinary and not paid etc etc yet these batards get seen out in clubs etc like they don't give a ****.
They must have a different type of contract that protects them. Plus the PFA. Hope it’s all just rubbish.
I would have loved him at GP, but would have had a battle to shift Coleman. Should be first choice RB for England. Better defensive FB than Walker.
I've had football in my blood since I was 6 (and everyone on here will tell you that's a loooong time ago), and I don't think I'll ever lose it. However, I've been saying for years that money is ruining the game. I can't stand all the cheating and so-called "professionalism" of the win-by-any-means brigade. That's not what the principles of sport mean to me. I'll continue to love it despite all those things, but it's not the same any more for me. Simply can't see the attraction of F1 though, sorry. Surely it's another activity that is simply money-driven? More boring than Colin Firth showing you his holiday photos.
Walker attacks though. I think that's why he is considered first choice. Bit like us trying to replace Arbeloa for Johnson.
