I didn't see the whole game, but I watched the highlights, and whilst you definately deserved the win, Palace did create chances. Benteke missed a few very good chances from what I remember. I can see Palace dropping into the drop zone temporarily, as they have really tough fixtures coming up, but their run in has a lot very winnable games at home against teams around them, and with Zaha back they should get the points IMO. Plus there is so much rubbish below them, that I think they should just have enough. It'll be close though.
The highlights were a little misleading, Benteke missed a couple of good chances but if we’d have had a Lukaku quality striker up top, we’d have absolutely buried them, as defensively they were dogshit. Zaha and the return of Sakho are the key to their survival for me, based on what I saw yesterday they’ll be right in the mix.
I agree mate, it’s wide open down there, it’ll be a fabulous end to the season seeing how it pans out, which is ace given the title is already decided and the somewhat meaningless to me ‘who gets 4th’ is the only real interest at the right end of the table.
I was 24 hours away from going too. Libby was sorting tickets out etc. But I had to pull out...gutted now.
If Huddersfield can win now, it will really make things interesting, as I was kind of assuming that them and WBA where as good as down.
You gotta love Ibra. Picking up a huge wage packet and knows full well he won't play for Utd again. Typical UTD really. ****ing mugs
I hope they stay up. At least they attempt to play football...half the teams in the bottom 6 just defend, defend, and defend.
This must be some sort of omen. Good, bad and for whom, god knows. We'll probably get skelped whatever happens...
Yeah, because if your passing and movement is a bit pony, you should definitely try and play through Liverpool
Clearly you've not been watching Huddersifield this season, they are probably the most defensive side in the division. Not that there is anything wrong with how they choose to play, but they definately ain't no attacking side. They got promoted last year with a -2 goal difference, and they where the lowest scorers in the Premier League before today's game.
Agreed mate its not for the faint hearted if you're one of those clubs but it's certainly exciting. It's almost impossible to predict 3 with any certainty at the moment.
No mate I have. They started off going for it...then went defensive, now it seems they're going for it again. Wagner is a Klopp lite
Are you sure? They're a pretty defensive to be honest. Finished 3rd last year with a negative goal difference.
I don't mean just against us. A lot of the bottom teams are ****ing ****e... I don't include Southampton in that btw. The pl has too much money and makes teams defend far too much. Too scared for the financial loss.
Lazy journalistic bollocks that about Klopp. He's no where near as an attacking coach, though probably a better defensive one.
Heard the Bournemouth coaches did a pick-up from Weymouth at 1:45am. Are they still using horse and carts down there?
