It was a bit ****ish of me to name Rob Dewhurst but Andy Brown and Chris Bettney had already been mentioned. I'll give you Ryan Williams instead.
I remember him getting nutmegged by Steve Bull at Boothferry and been made to look like a complete fool
nicky brown was a goal machine playing for the reserves and the juniors, but when he got to the first team some total idiot played him at full back.
But Ryan Williams is memorable for playing well against us for Chesterfield (and I think taking the piss in front of Kempton about money) then us signing him and him never being as good for us Played lots of times though and was ok
Not read every post so apologies if I'm repeating one here. Jason Harris. Looked like he should have been good but wasn't. Remember one game we were a goal up late on. He had a chance of a one on one with their keeper to finish it. Instead he ran it to the south east corner flag to waste some time. Got absolute dogs abuse for it(this was at boothferry). Of course they went up the other end and equalised. Shaun Smith. Came from Crewe with a good rep. Alas forgettable. Craig Falonbridge. Might be Coventry loan someone mentioned. Greg Strong. Signed from Scotland. Muff said. That striker we got on loan from Notts County then disappeared as the great escape gained momentum.
How about John Moore and David Jones , think I have got the names right but both played centre forward .
Nathan Doyle. He was always on the fringes but never really broke through. Then he scored in the play offs against Watford.
Antonio Doncel. Made his debut, as far as I recall, in a friendly v Forest to a 'chorus of gasps' as his name was read out. Well that was how Fieldhouse described it anyway.
Was that a young lad called Dudley who scored a late winner in One of Warren Joyce's first games as manager .
