I’ve only become a Liverpool hater since they started raiding us for our players. Have no real problem with their fans, have total respect after our win in the cup last season. Saints fans celebrating in the pubs down from the Anfield Road end, they were totally gracious and congratulatory after their defeat.

 

Its the only place in the world in my opinion where you know which team your host supports before you've even met him or her..............By the colour of their front door!!
Although it has been a while I can never get over the shock I had on my first visit to Liverpool. Walking down a street and seeing so many Red or blue front doors!!!!!!
Its a sight I will never forget...........Not sure if it is the same today.....but it wouldn't surprise me if it were..............

About to board a train full of Reds fans, and have to begrudgingly admit that they are a superb bunch. I am about to expose myself to hours of pre-match piss-taking, so we'd better play today. Even if we lose, if we lose with some pride then the journey home will be fine. Now on train and card school has started. Great. They'll be taking the piss and I'll be skint by Reading.
