I doubt having Cissokho broken in two would be beneficial...

  3. I've not liked the look of what i've seen from clips of him, but he's the LB on the number 1 ranked side in the world, and he's younger than Cissokho, and the Lyon fans have been saying they couldn't believe they payed 15 million for "this mediocrity".

So i'm liking the sound of Pieters.

I wouldn't read too much into it though, these rumours always circulate. They did say similar things about Patrick Vieira though years ago. Something about him having one leg shorter than the other, spine problems in later career etc. The ****er only finally gave it up last year and he was still class! Look at Marveaux too, he's back playing and he was meant to be finished. Of course in my mind now, Cissokho is complete crock

if you played your cards right that could have amazing consequences.....

Happy with Pieters though, the fact some are saying he's not as good attacking-wise than Cissokho isn't the end of the world 'cos he is a defender at the end of the day.

Honestly feel that when this goes through its a class bit of business from us

Enrique goes leaving a massive space to fill in our defence

and for a side not in europe to then go and buy a young promising full dutch international has left me very impressed
Also partly down to the fact everyone could see wayne bridges' bleak derranged face grinning with his toon shirt on deadline day

    Yayyy Pieters :)

I'm happy with Pieters, he was always the more realistic target. Now we have a week to get the new striker in.

Of course in the same analogy, Wayne Bridge would be white lightning. I just hope were not that desperate!!!

    Pieters will do just fine.

I've got a feeling we shall be pleasantly surprised come the end of this transfer window...

I think it would be nice to see a player coming in from a different nationality other than french for a change, think Krul would help him as well seeing as though now Van der Sar is retired he will be Hollands number.1. Watched Sissoko yesterday and didnt really see anything special, although its hard in a game like that

Haha. I never said I wouldn't watch, it just wouldn't be as much fun!

I respect your voyeurism, it takes great restraint I'd imagine
