And our genius of a manager thinks that he doesn't need to make any changes at half time.

Obviously we were brilliant in the first half <doh>

We have a chance now, Ward replaced by Carayol!
    Gleeson for Connolly

    If Burton do sneak a goal, I see a riot..perhaps that's what's needed. I am the cynic.

Wow, look at that, a winger that can beat a man. In fact he beat two in a row (Carayol)

Serious wake-up call for all. MM will be thinking, what the f....k, time for a change, do I need this crap? If anyone is in doubt, this performance brings down the curtain.

Oh, joy, we have NCFC next week!

    A terrible game.

Feels like we play with four CB's again. Knudsen is better in the middle and so is Spence. People might moan about Iorfa but when I've seen him he at least has got forward and made attacking plays. He can get past a player better than Ward

I guess it boils down to what Evans puts in BigAl - I wasn't there today and am going to listen to a Mr Benjamin Bloom's podcast on Youtube.

Now the next thing I'm going to say sums up my ' interest ' right now - next Sunday supposed to be watching the game in a pub with the Ipswich South West Supporters club. However, earlier mum said she's going for a walk with three of her friends. Giving serious consideration in what I actually do.

Have to say, today is perhaps the first time in .... since 1999 I was watching football scores and the following happened -

I was seeing how my £1.20 bet came along ( big spender ) on both teams to score - for a bit of fun. Of course I didn't win..... ( all of league 1 WAS both teams to score ) so some bookie would have taken a pounding somewhere.

However, for once I pretty much forgot we were playing! I didn't even think once about our game, didn't get my laptop to check substitutions. Didn't try to find a radio/video stream or anything.

I told my mate on Facebook it'd be a 1-1 draw in the end just before kick off - then when full times were coming in I thought ' hang on how are WE doing! '

Awful on my part, I just feel so ruddy bored with it about now. Seriously bored. I've given my stance on all things ITFC and clearly between now / May it's a case of maybe three more wins will guarantee our safety. We'll be fine. However, bar Nodge A next week............. that's about it!

The sad thing is, Mick or whoever else, the ££££ policy in the summer is going to be the same.

I think I've come to the conclusion that whoever managers us right now - barring a ruddy miracle is going to have a bloody difficult job to do.

A drab afternoon with only the one shot on target. After five years in charge, McCarthy's team now plays to not lose. It's often turgid to watch, it's against the values that our football club once had, and I think regardless of budget (which will always be small under Evans), we've got to believe someone else will get us playing better football than this.

In terms of performances, Spence, Knudsen, Skuse, Connolly, Ward, and Garner had poor games. Waghorn's goal drought continues. We had nothing going forwards. Bart comes out with credit and Carayol looked alright coming off the bench. Cameron Carter-Vickers also had a good game.

Anyone persevering with the club and still attending the games, fair play to you. As for me, I think I'm done. I'll watch the Norwich match on TV, but I don't think I can stomach wasting another £30 and extra costs to watch us again this season. A sorry state of affairs and a manager who, despite the initial success and turnaround of fortunes he brought to the club, has well and truly outstayed his welcome. He is putting our club into a period of decline, and the owner is just as much to blame.

We don't have any kind of playing style. You couldn't even call us a long ball team because we don't do that very well, not like we did four years ago.
It's nothing football, no substance and no tangible tactics or direction. After yesterday's game it's obvious that the squad needs an overhaul and I would rather another manager was given that task than Mick.
Ipswich Town Football Club can't survive another year or two of having Mick as manager.
