Hull Fc and HKR don't travel in anywhere near the numbers they did in that 5/6 year period in the early 80s.

But the positive aspect from the contest is clearly the fact that the attendance of 12,416 shows the concept of taking a Super League game to Wollongong was a success. That crowd was better than any figure for games between the two clubs in the 2017 regular season.

    Typical insular Hull attitude.

To be honest I would have thought a game between the most successful and the best known, world famous one from the world capital of rugby league, a bit like Real Madrid playing Man Utd , would have been played in a massive stadium with tickets changing hands on the black market for huge sums.

I heard one of them interviewed yesterday on bbc 5 live who did quite a long feature on them backing the Uni team. He was definitely from Hull.
So possibly more connections to Hull than most City teams.

I went last weekend to the Italy v England game. Great atmosphere pre and post match but very flat during the actual game despite over 61,000 attendance.

£1300 for 10 days in Oz including travel hotel and match tickets thrown in, I would have had some of that if I'd known about it....would have given the match tickets away though.

As you can currently get flights to Oz with ten nights in a four star hotel for £1,113, it wouldn't the brightest of ideas, not unless you managed to sell the tickets.

Refering to the English International team not Union in general.

Bugger me you're right, I stand corrected, no idea it was so cheap. Cheaper than a fortnight all inclusive in Majorca.
