But those City fans don't support rugby clubs from other towns and sit cheering in pubs when they score against the local club. Never seen a City fan wearing the shirt of a rugby club from another town or going round in a car with a sticker of Wigan, St Helens or Leeds next to a City one.

At least, and it isn't much to be honest, it is the same sport.

Do you get points for fans turning up? Wigan is a tiny town and their history absolutely ****ing ****s over both our rugby clubs combined.

Whenever fans go on about how many they have it’s a direct correlation with how ****e their team is. See The Jawdies, Wednesday, TWS...

Just saying it like it is. If people don’t like an uncomfortable truth that’s their problem.

And seeing as you asked - no. Graham is away for the weekend.

I'm just winding you up. Impressive though 9,000 plus miles and a decent following.

By replying to a post about how many fans have gone to a game featuring the team who are named in the thread title?

It’s not even remotely spam or off topic :emoticon-0148-yes:

You're just being a twat for the sake of it. All someone said is that it's a good away following for a league game in Aus, then you had a little outburst. If talking about Sheffield Wednesday on a rugby forum isn't off topic then I don't know what is.

There hasn't been an official number yet but it's about 2,500 for each club and just over 5,000 total from the U.K.

I agree that would be off topic on a rugby forum. By the same token talking rugby on a football forum must be off topic.

    Hmmm...

But my point was - in case you somehow missed it - that on a weekly basis on this very football forum people take the piss out of Wednesday, or F.C. Massive as they’ve become known, for how they always go on about their fans. So when somebody mentions on the very same football forum how many fans Hull FC have taken to Australia... well you can fill in the blanks.

The thread is marked off topic so you know that before you open it, there's no need to derail it on that basis, just ignore it.

There's a massive difference between praising a group of fans for travelling to the other side of the world to watch their team to mocking Sheffield Wednesday for the deluded attitude in the play-off final.

I’m not derailing it, I’m talking about rugby.

And it was you who mentioned talking about football on a rugby forum would be off topic. I agreed with you.

And there’s no difference. No difference whatsoever.

I have no interest in talking to someone that has no interest in listening.

    Enjoy your weekend :emoticon-0148-yes:

Why do you keep replying then?

And as I said, I was talking about rugby :emoticon-0148-yes:
