That's what I do but I've never understood the fascination for shows like X Factor. It's probably run way over 10 seasons now and is exactly the same more or less. There's more talent on You Tube if that's your thing.
I watch the footie on streams and that’s it. We’ve got Netflix as my daughter loves Cartoons and the missus likes things like Weeds etc. But I don’t watch it (apart from my little pony ) But we don’t have a TV and I haven’t watched any of the ****e on it for around 7 years.
I don’t mind paying £5.99 a month for Netflix as the missus and little un use it loads. I don’t pay for a TV licence or Sky or any other packages. So it’s pretty good value for the use it gets.
Yeah I very rarely watch any live TV so to speak unless I'm at a friends. SSN in background sometimes but that's it really, rest like you is Netflix etc.
Is the technology in place though to determine if somebody is watching BBC iplayer without a TV licence? I watch MOTD on iplayer I must admit.
I wouldn't worry as I'd imagine everybody does likewise and they would need an army of staff to regulate it.
I would imagine that there are hundreds of thousands of people like me who watch MOTD or one show a week and can’t justify buying a tv licence. What the BBC should offer for people like me is a one off pay per view, e.g 50p per show or similar. Link it to a paypal account and make it simple.
What's more infuriating is that it's killed the pop industry with Cowell's brand of ready written dross for the vastly talentless twats that win.
Not sure I like the look of our team for today.,..! No Alderweireld, Wanayama on the bench, and Trippier starts at RB?...
