Being a series, it can go into so much more fine detail, which is really important.

I had seen that WW2 in colour before but watched it again because it's very good.

Watched Bright. Ok it's Alien Nation but not as good

Watched first 3 episodes of Black Lightning: not sure about this....suit looks cheap .... acting and story arc good but sometimes slips into Boyz n the hood platforming. Its not confronting the issues that's poor it's that the characters almost step into a spotlight to give a speech occasionally....its a style thing.

Instead of watching the new xfiles I rewatched seasons 1-3. Love it.

    Blade Runner 2049 was excellent.

Watched Logan Lucky. Actors great in it...just suffers from a unreasonably slow tempo for me.

WW2 in colour and several other versions are on constant repeat on history etc. The ones properly voiced are excellent

WWI is really less well done in terms of having far less and limited footage.

Is that the one about the Roman Emperor that became a gladiator. That was very good... Watched that last year and found it fascinating, was surprised I hadn't heard about him before.

Yeah Commodus was the one you mean. They condense and mess about with some of the facts and sources and stuff but it's an enjoyable mix of action and history in a docu-drama format

Don't agree with the terrible reviews at all. It's not great but it's worth watching.

I'm into sci fi and probably vote it a bit higher than some but Paradox isn't the terrible film that is being slated universally. It's also not a great film, is just ok and worth a watch. The effects are good the cast are good the story is a bit messy but iI've seen worse and I've seen critics give worse much better reviews it seems to me they have it in for this film because they are so disappointed it didn't live up to 10 Cloverfield Lane and is a disappointment in that respect.
