Ah well. A point is a point. Could easily have lost. Had better chances at the end but not to be.

Nice to hear from you Minxy. Don't be a stranger. We've got many stranger than you on this site. <whistle>

Christ that was a battle and a half!

Madine must be feeling like he's gone a few rounds with Anthony Joshua....

Can't believe the ref blew when he did for Sol's winner... gutted.

Still, good to hear the commentators talking about the honesty of both teams with players not rolling and diving everywhere

Think a point was fair on balance, but Sol's winner... ref, just 2 second longer!!!!!

Far too negative. Ref cost us but the negative tactics means we got what we deserved.

Had to go out so recorded it and got back to watch it. Thought after 10 minutes this will be a stroll but pathetic after that and lucky to be 1-1.

What were City trying to do? What were their tactics? They did not play football. It was woeful.

Then it picked up and we all know that dwarf ref cocked up big time but even if we had won it would have been unjust.

BUT when will we get some rub on our SKY outings? Blatant penalty at Bham. Zahore’s goal wrongly chalked off at Wednesday and now this complete total farce.

That midget should never referee a game again. Incompetent little .....

With our bad luck City will be also rans but didn’t help themselves by their poor display after they scored.

Oh and just how bad was Mendez Laing eh? Total garbage.

That bastardo Keith Stroud cost me 210 quid last night not playing the advantage through for Sol's goal.<grr>

    Ahh, c'est la vie I suppose - you can't win every week.......<laugh>

At least we'll be in blue next time before sky cameras at Derby

The green should be binned; play in red

First chance to post a considered opinion on here since last night - I've been too stressed about the financial implications of Stroud ruling out Sol's goal to worry about the dropped points. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Must say it was a fair result in the end for the game overall - a draw was about right but the ref did cost us the win.

No question he wrongly blew for the foul before the advantage had been fully played out. The ball should been cleared, gone behind or in the net before he stopped play to award the free kick.

Terrible refereeing at this level and no wonder Colin was slightly upset.....<laugh>

Constant barracking of the fourth official can’t be helping I’m sure. He won’t be any getting respect, and worse still any favours! I would say keep it zipped until it really is required NW pal...learn from Masky! Time to take NML out of squad, where was Traore last night, played well at Leeds? :emoticon-0103-cool:

Masky - Traore had a knock in the Leeds game and wasn't considered able to play last night. <ok>

On the question of Mendez, what has happened to the guy? He was quite pathetic last night and should have been hooked at half time.

Overall I thought Warnock was far too cautious with his subs. The game was there to be won if he'd hooked Mendez and stuck someone like Pilks on earlier. Madine was getting battered with little or no protection from the ref and should have been pulled for Zohore long before he did.

I couldn't understand Halford and Damour coming on when we had Pilks on the bench and even Jamie Ward who was tailor made for the last 20 minutes of that game - WTF did we take him on from Forest for if we don't chuck him on against a team like Millwall?

The old cliche is "is it a point gained or two points dropped". For me it was two points that weren't gone for not just dropped.

Yes Damour is not one who convinces Masky, Halford does nothing to get my juices flowing...he’ll be pleased with that bit...and as you say Ward....WTF? :emoticon-0103-cool: A win against Bolton a must now to keep us in the loop!

Have to add, that game didn’t give us the three points we wanted, but together with Leeds...wow, what battles? Championship a great league for me...not sure Masky craves promotion to the big one...there I’ve said it now! :emoticon-0103-cool:

I know what you mean Masky. There is the attraction of big teams, big grounds, the best players, big crowds and big money.

But what for? Like last time, feeding on crumbs and getting thumped every other game.

Whereas we can compete at this level, many games are full blooded encounters. Not pretty football but exciting in their own way.

In saying that if we are not striving to play against the best in full houses at CCS what is there to play for?

That, I suppose, is the multi million dollar question. Literally and actually.

ML has been carried in the last few outings he's had a game. Not sure where his head is, but he's predictable and his threat can be snuffed out easily. He needs a ball to run onto and someone in the centre to receive it. Otherwise he's wasted.
Damour has the skills and the know how, but it seems no brain. He won a tackle last night and then proceeded to try and take on all in front of him before losing the ball. Very frustrating.
Felt sorry for Madine, got kicked a lot and had scraps, wasn't going to score if the match lasted a month.
I think Millwall had us sussed and played accordingly, happy with the draw as it was probably fair over the 90 minutes. Still angry that Stroud screwed up the advantage rule so badly, Sunday league level decision.

    Rant over.
