Absolutely. It is childish, and so non-PC. But if your lot insist on playing that little **** Lovren or Van Dijk or Lallana or .. well they only get what they deserve!
You lot are gonna pass out if there's a sequence of passing that goes Lovren to Van Dijk back to Lovren to Lallana, Lallana to Van Dijk GOAL. Boooooooooooooooooooooooocough...booooooooocough, cough...deep breath booooooooooooo. For ****s sake!
Imagine how you feel about Sterling. Now imagine feeling the very same to at least half of an opposition team.
It's total madness, they keep buying the best players from a team that have never finished in the top 4 and expect them to push them to the next level. Yes they had one decent season out of Mane but he was number 6 on the list, why do they keep on doing it They either need a manager who knows how to use your players or pick another strategy.
I'd love to slate Liverpool, but their strategy of buying nothing but Saints players has them positioned for their third CL finish in four seasons, which is a significant improvement over their performance previous. This announcement has been brought to you by the We're Going to Sell Them Anyway, Might as Well Get A Premium Council.
Perhaps a few of the younger Saints fans may be interested in a little bit of Saints/Liverpool history. When both Saints and Liverpool were in the then 2nd division. Saints were Liverpool's bogy team. The year Liverpool were promoted to the then 1st Division Saints actually beat them 3 times that year. Home and away in the league and a cup match!! (Or it may be the season before they got promoted) I can remember just ...being at two of them games. Good omens for Sundays game 3-1 Saints....sorry luvgonzo. Come on you Saints lets be having ya.................
Hypocrisy lives. Liverpool fan moaning about us booing ex-players. I watched Liverpool v City and it sounded like half of Anfield nearly burst every time Sterling got the ball.
I think it’s pretty clear that like many other premier league teams, we will only play one up top. Whilst this infuriated a lot of fans I think it is worth remembering that this is only a starting position and should not stop us having three or four attack minded players in the box when it actually matters.
Yes we have been the occasional pain in the arse to the buggers, but it's not enough! My loathing of LFC is pretty superficial. It is based on four decades plus of being surrounded by gobby armchair Liverpool fans. I have a number of very good mates who are season ticket holders, and I enjoy a proper bantering relationship with them. There are 6 coming with me on the train tomorrow, and we'll have a laugh, and the banter on the train will be good, as ever, as Liverpool's travelling support are a very knowledgable lot who enjoy a laugh. The thing I will hate if we lose will be the smirky "Eh, lah,we screwed you lot big time" from some prick in the local shops who would struggle to name more than 3 Liverpool players! Like Man U, Liverpool have so many telly fans who know sod all. As for ex-players, I have always taken a passing interest, but once they're gone they're gone. I was pleased to see Mane do well; I'm delighted for Oxo that he's found his mojo again after all those crap years at Arsenal. Lovren, Van Dijk et al will get a broadside of abuse from me if they take out one of our players. I always boo the opposition in these circumstances, and tomorrow will be no different. Booing ex-players, even those who behaved like petulant children when with us, isn't for me.
It is a universal trait that I've never quite got. I boo any bugger in the opposition team if they commit a foul on one of our brave and honest boys. Booing ex-players just seems to exaggerate their importance. If Virgil et al don't want to wear the shirt of the greatest team in the world then **** 'em!
Maybe we should sing the nice version of the Virgil van Dijk song, with “Hes Jurgen klopp’s Man” in the middle. That might confuse the **** out of him and put him off a bit
Have they been diagnosed with vertigo? Some insider knowledge we don't know? This sort of technical football speak brings the thread into disrepute, FLT. But now you've started it let's continue. Getting behind their slightly arthritic defence is right. Even with changes of personnel, Liverpool never look comfortable when stretched, and can everyone in a Saints shirt please remember De Gea plays for Man U. Liverpool's keepers are crap.
I wouldn't waste the energy booing ex-players (though I reserve the right to sniff loudly if they foul any of our lads....and by foul, I mean win the ball in any way). However, I would never be pleased to see any player (ex or not) succeed at Liverpool.
We love Van Dijk Virgil Van Dijk So pleased he managed to get out Playing for a proper team Making every Saints fan beam We love you Virgil Van Dijk Of course, we'd all have to google "How to sing with irony" but it's a small price to pay
Oh you wishy washy liberal you. My definition of unsporting behaviour from the opposition is setting foot on the hallowed turf of SMS.
I hate this playing on a Sunday nonsense. If we do badly, I want to get over it, know where we are in the league and move on. Hate the uncertainty and hope about a Sunday game. Of course it would be nice to torture the relegation candidates and win to send them tumbling again, but I'd still rather do that today.
On the subject of booing it's worth noting that it actually worked in our favour in the 3-2 win. I don't think Virgil will be bothered mind but it clearly got to Dejan that day.
