1st Cloverfield film with the shakey camera is garbage.
The semi-sequel 10 Cloverfield Lane is a lot better. Goodman is very good in it plus it's got Mary Elizabeth Winstead

It's really loosely linked. Can't say much without spoiling it but there's barely a connection.

 

If the first one is zero (cos its ****ing ****), what score would the loosely connected second one get?

Probably a 6. Maybe 7. It's set in an underground bunker with only 3 people (Goodman, Winstead and some other bloke)
It's mostly a psychological thriller though with no shakey camera and the actors can actually act.
