t Totally agree,I hae seen worse scenario of players loosing their form but are able to turn it around. If you hae the class you will always be classy.
I think at this age we cannot afford another player who is very moody and needs motivation every now and again. Being a professional, people should learn how to motivate themselves. no wonder money plays a major role.
jordan Did you know that since Torres' trailblazing exploits in his first season - Darren Bent has scored more league goals than him? He scored against City on his Villa debut and again against us last night. He was moved on at half the price of Torres. I couldn't give a toss where Torres goes. He's decent but ridiculously overrated.
What i don't get is a lot of people keep on about Chelsea's ageing squad, Chelsea realise this and have brought in Torres to address that, he'll play along side Drogba / Anelka and Kalou who still needs to step up. Sturridge needs more prem. experience so he's out on loan, and hopefully come back as a first teamer when inevitably drogba and Anelka call it a day. and the young Luiz should be a great asset. Everyone at Chelsea seem very optimistic about the future.
I''m not sure why?. You're meant to be self-sustained by now and you've completely blown that out of the water in this window.
Hahahahaha Chelski self-sustained? That's a joke. I work with a Chelsea fan and even she can admit that they buy ready-made players. What I will say is this; if it's shown that we are a much better side with Giggs in, then Chelsea definately look worse for ware without a fit and in form Lampard, regardless of who else is on the pitch.
The other factor in the Torres signing is that it raises Chelsea's profile in Spain. Madrid and Barcelona can only sign so many players, so Chelsea could become an attractive 3rd option for players in La Liga.
