Unfortunately we have worse in our DM positions. Would gladly sell my left ball sack to get Kante as our DM.
I would still take Xhaka and Ramsey, over Dembele and Wanyama, but I haven't watched Spurs for a while. Perhaps they have got better.
Getting the nurse in early for Saturday's game against us? I bet you'll all be having sleepless nights thinking about Aubameyang leading to the game.
I think it's a bit generous sticking Micky Tarian in the team after one game. Don't think Id have Koscielny on current form either
You are of course right. Wanyama is the next Patrick Vieira. Just as Michael Dawson was the next Tont Adams Tom Huddlestone is the next Glenn Hoddle ..and I'm sure Delli Alli is the next Roberto Baggio. Except he's not.
I'm not a big fan of making these teams based on recent form. For a start form goes out the window in the Derby so I would just go with the best side. In which case Mkhitarian and Ozil walk in.
Vieira, despite being a bellend, was world class. Wamyama is not at that level and tbh at 27 probably won't ever reach it either. A fair comparison demands that you now compare Xhaka to Vieira. Wincing enough yet? The suggestion that Xhaka and Ramsey are better than Dembele and Wanyama is the funniest thing I've heard today.
But I never suggested that. I like Dembele, Wanyama is decent-ish (mediocre) he's not a terrible player. Ramsey has alot of ability but Xhaka has been a massive ****ing disappointment. I never suggested we had the better CM's (although a fit Carzorla would make the team) You are the one who posted an entire Tottenham 11.
Really looking forward to this game. We have some exciting attacking talent on show. It's the NLD and it could have an impact on the season of either team given how the league is poised. Should be a good game... so it'll probably end 0-0 I'm expecting goals in this game from both teams tbh. Our attack looks great but our defense is a shambles.
really not hoping for a 0-0. Want to go out and attack to get a result. Win or lose, a draw is pointless.
With our firepower, i can't see why we won't go for it. Big pitch, super fast Auba and two brilliant playmakers in Ozil and Mhki. Spurs will have to be on point, otherwise Auba will have a field day.
Yeah the big pitch and style of attackers we have will suit an offensive game plan. But it'll also open up some spaces in midfield which won't be good for our defense. I can see it being a high scoring game with multiple goals from both teams.
