You must have had a few from up North. Like Billy, I went to school and played in the same football team as Robbie Turner. What are your thoughts about him?
To be fair Robbie Turner did well for us,we’ve had quite a few quality players over the years from up North,John Stead was fantastic for us,he is still banging them in at Notts County.
Hope you are right, but its usually us getting battered, and I cant remember the last time we handed one out. Bristol look a decent team, unlucky against Bolton, poor refereeing cost them, if theres any backlash I fear the worst.
Gary Owers just the sort of player we could do with now. Always prefer our own lads to the crap we have spent fortunes on, ie Stead the plank.
From what I remember he was versatile but good in every position, right mid, centre mid and right back. Always gave 100%. Aye, great player for us.
We can't defend corners and Aiden Flint will absolutely destroy us. I can see them scoring early, needles foul by Billy Jones. Free kick straight to Flint who beats an eyes closed, lead booted Oshea in the air. Camp tiny and static. Got a bad feeling this will be a Cardiff away style defeat
[QUOTE="MrRAWhite, post: 11432056, member: 1000795"It will be just like Sunderland to batter them now..[/QUOTE] Well we did in the second half, to our surprise, but it looks to me that attack is our best line of defence, the team is starting to gel, a win at home is the tonic we need now and get out of the bottom three asp.
First half you were shocking, second half you deserved the point. Battle like the second half and you can pull away from the bottom. Keep believing guys. Us we are in free fall
Best of luck mate, KTF do us a favour and batter a few of our rivals down in the basement in the next few weeks, on your way to the premiership.
Best of luck Red Robin and thanks for coming on here for some craic. Yous have looked good this season particullary against City in the cup.
Great post mate. Best of luck for you guys for the rest of the season. I'm not sure promotion would do you any favours if you ain't got money behind you, but its always good to see smaller clubs (no offence intended) doing really well. Watching the likes of Burnley and Brighton and Bournemouth doing well is great. It gives us hope that we can come back from the catastrophe our owner has taken us to.
Let’s hope you and us get back to winning ways for different reasons. Bloody cup games killed the players me thinks.
We got money have a look how much the owner is worth Steve Lansdown Bristol City fan just spent 45 million on a ground upgrade. Founder of Hargreaves Lansdown Finacial Services. He lives over in Guernsey worth a absolute fortune.
