45 minutes is bare time for a gym session. Try confusing your muscles tonight, do a set of deads 10 reps to failure, 3 minutes rest, then do your next set to failure then 10 seconds rest and put another 10 kg on the bar and do your next set to failure, you'll get 3 out if you're lucky but that'll absolutely obliterate your muscle fibres. The last thing your muscles expect when there's lactic acid coursing through you is for more work. That 3 sets will crush your glutes and hammy's. It's harder with squats as you can't just drop the bar, so try dumb bell lunges instead and repeat the process above. Finish with three sets of squat jumps with a light weight, explosive pushes and controlled lowering. That's leg day done, you're a better man than me if you can go for a run after that.

I done my legs and abs today. Don't know the name of the exercises though, I just know what to do. One of them was squatting, oh and another was leg curls. Not sure of the other exercise but it worked my calfs. I always do drop sets with one minute rest in between exercises.
I've not smoked weed of any sort for about ten years and I've no real ambition to go back to it! I just think with today's strengths it would wipe me out.

Yeah mate. Monday - Chest & Bis Tuesday - Boxing Wednesday - Back & Tris Thursday - Legs and Abs Friday - Boxing Saturday - Shoulders & Bis Sunday is recovery day. When I get back from Jamaica in April that will be getting flipped around, so it will be 4 days boxing and 2 days weight training.

I do four, sometimes five days a week. I’m not looking to build muscle anymore. Just to keep it all toned and my strength up. So, I’m a weight trainer, not a bodybuilder. At my age cardio is important, so I run or row most days. Get that heart rate up..
Got clobbered on the leg Monday sparing and it still hurts now Thets the fun of age, it takes longer to recover.
**** the gym. Took the little un to Jungle Barn today, a massive soft play, ball pool, climbing frames and slides place for kids. An hour chasing her around there beats any workout !
Took my niece to museums in London yesterday. Spending a half term Friday in London with a 7 year old is guaranteed to get the adrenalin flowing - Christ knows how many calories I lost just by worrying where she was and everything else.
