It's only a matter of time before any player leaves, they can't play forever!

    very true.

a holographic singer is possible but a holographic footballer not so much.. be like moreno defending.

mind you spurs players would still find a way to fall over a holographic gerrard..

No, they've moved on from there with the new proposal from Joe. There's no 'access to the councils credit line' - the council proposes to borrow the money itself and give it to EFC [as a loan] - to be paid back with interest obviously and they retain the original plan of having first dibs on the club's TV money/ticket sales etc. as security.

There won't be an SPV <ok>

Will the money the council receive back from the loan be inflation related, can't see £7m being worth £7m in the passing years?

Everton have been turned down left and right regarding financing. nobody wants the give them that money even with council underwriting.

solution: joe borrows it for them and hands it over... no risk? as if anyone is going to feel up evertons collar if they turned round and and said **** off we can't pay.

Don't know if it will be inflation proofed mate. I'm not finance savvy enough to know if it's a better deal for the council than the previous one but Joe seems determined that the city won't lose out. Repayments over 25 years instead of previous 40 year repayment deal and I presume the £7m figure is extra to the repayment schedule as £7m x 25 doesn't add up to £280m [proposed loan amount].
