my former employer has direct ship. their model was about usage as they could track and resupply prior to you running out. their model was lose big on heavy losers but make a killing on light users. You sign up for a small monthly fee and forget about it. 3 quid a beer seems expensive to me. but shipping by weight is the issue i expect. again 100% mark up minimum if they can give first month free. I agree with you on that one. scam it.
I use a brand called Dorco here in the US (bit of an unfortunate name)... I buy them in bulk on sale (and they're frequently on sale) Pay less than $1 a blade and a blade lasts me a few weeks each (Gillette and Schick Dont last that long). Unfortunate name... But goes to show you don't get a better razor by paying more money. Budget razors can be better than the name brands.
I had a free offer for one, similar to Gillette and decent enough but not a patch on what I'm using now they really are good.
Definitely ....i did that once...after hockey beers....going out that night...came home for shower and shave pished...didnt just nick myself ....i literally embedded the blade into my chin Feck with the alcohol in me and a facial injury it looked like the prom scene from Carrie!
First time I ever shaved I cut my finger. No one ever showed me what to do... Was just handed a razor and told to remove the prepubescent fuzz from my face as it was starting to turn into facial hair. When the blade got clogged I used my finger to unclog it... It didn't cut my face after all. Worked the first couple times.... The third time I must have run my finger the wrong way. One of the stupidest things I've done. Cut the tip of my nose once too early on being clumsy when a razor.
I've also cut the base of the member. Using an electric trimmer. Was meeting the girlfriend that night and decided to give it all a nice trim being the considerate lover I am .... leg slipped on bath jammed the trimmer blade into the part where meat meets veg.... Again.... Horror movie images..... I probably shouldn't be left alone around sharp objects....
Well I dont shave my head so that's irrelevant. Seriously though, I find Dorco blades last a lot longer than Gillette or Schick. Got the Mrs. The female version for her legs, etc... and she found it nicked her skin a lot. So seems to be superior for thick hair but not so much for sensitive skin.
not odd really. It's unfortunate for her but where do you lay the law. Lets say he wasn't being sued because he was a ***** but that through criminal activity he made all that money, then should the state only try to take half and leave half to the wife. It's sad for your sister in law but theres no easy way to set the boundary. Lets just hope she never gets sued!
A Gillette blade can last me 3-4 months. Don't like using brand new blades on my head so I use them for so long on my face then swap them over. Now i've got a beard (about 3yrs and counting) I just have to be really careful doing my head the first few times. Actually cut my head last as it happens!

Just seen ex united and Celtic midfielder Liam miller has died. Ages 36, cancer. Sad stuff. At same time seen Rob Delaney (comedian/actor) 2 year old son died from brain tumour as well. Horrible how young can be and stuff like that can hit anyone
