Thought we had an agreement on here that we would mod our own page,I for one fully support our mods,I believe we have the best on 606.And in elland the reason this page is better than Ja606.why not have a binding vote on who should run it brb (and I like the guy,but this is wrong imo) or our mods.If the losers don't like the result they can go elsewhere.

Agree with this 100% just wish warring parties would just use the ignore button, how hard is that because it gets boring looking at arguments between a couple as we all have to see it.

To be fair, WJ asked for the mods intervention the other day and threatened legal action - when this happens it leaves them very little choice. Your own mods may not have took him seriously, but BRB had to - how much would a libel case cost!
The problem you have is too many people calling for others to be banned.

If he has a case he can do as he wishes, but to undermine our mods who run this page is not on,if people think they are more important than the mods, lets vote on it with the loser going elsewhere.

I appreciate what you are saying mate, but as soon as WJ mentioned taking legal action, it took control out of your mods hands!!

If he has a case against the person, then that's between them,to possibly lose the best mod on the site because a person can't deal with there problems is involving everyone, and we don't care, where we do care is the other people involved, keep it between yourselves or fook off gets my vote.

We are working on the solution

We like to be able to run our Leeds forum and the Supermods do let us do this

Unfortunately over recent weeks comments have been made, messages sent by numerous people alerting them to our page, naturally this brings them here and if they see something they don't like they will act

If we want to run our page we need to reign in the petty comments and the messaging/tagging of Supermods in the posts

I'll use the phrase "if you play with feathers you'll get your arse tickled"

I ask politely that if people have a problem then raise it with the Leeds mods, as a collective we all look at situations in a very different way so copy us all into the messages

We have raised the issue regarding not being consulted on the decision

But he posted it on the open forum - and to take legal action, he would have to take it against the site, not the individual!!

For me bannings should only be for threats of violence or for hate posts, slurs on someone's character are normally based on assumptions without any proof just to get a reaction which should be removed by the mods once a complaint is made.by the offended party.
Wind ups and piss takes is what makes a forum but there is a line you should not cross, people can lose their jobs or even be arrested for what they post on social media and a forum is no different, i only write what i would say to someone in person and i think most people are the same.

I've no idea of the backround to this and what's it's all about, but this is no place for the thin-skinned.

From my brief excursions here, I enjoy it although the chat can get a bit personal on times, but so what - you take it and give it without getting too upset then walk away.

If you lose elland it'll be a sad day for all of us on the forums. The guy seemed to be a stalwart of yours and has the ability to keep interest going in a very level headed sort of way.

Just an opinion from an occasional visitor. <ok>
