Has anybody heard anything about 'Eckythump wanting to bring a couple of free agents in? I think there are plenty who have been released and have no club, but would this make Orta look bad? Short term pay as you play seems a good move to me to bring some quality/steel into the squad
Antonnson is still out injured and if WJ is correct it seems he blotted his copybook with the kids. Seems hes too much of a superstar to tackle back? As much as I've been a fan on here for Klich that ship has sailed. It may be possible for him to come back in the Summer but will be down to PH, because at the moment Klich has told the club to go do one. However if he does what hes capable of in Holland the club can demand he comes back now TC's gone
In all honesty Doc, I don't blame Klich for saying that, he was stuffed about by a coach who didn't really know what he was doing all round. I know Ants still injured, but whatever he's done Heckythump can change it. From what we've been seeing, it looks like a few players didn't want to play for TC, which has been showing for a while, if it's true what Jock says then Ants in same boat as some of our first team players.
I hope part of Orta’s plan is to have someone watch our loanees from time to time so that we can make a proper decision about them
This is a golden opportunity for PH to tell Orta THAT he wants to see any recruitment of any discription prior to them moving to LS11.
I think he had a similar situation at Barnsley, no say in who came in and was sold. In fact it appears his job was to improve players so they could be sold at a profit (my one real concern about his appointment).
