Yeah no doubt he made a career of it but he was a rigid actor...Stallone was the man for the body and acting...Rocky 1-4...all time greats and Rambo First Blood <ok>

They’re a rip off mate, as they’re assuming a set pattern of requirement of product, and every man has a different level of requirement depending on how they shave, density of hair etc etc. Keeping buying when needed and ignore. Nice business model though tbf.

I use Cornerstone and I'm well impressed so far. I felt the same as you, what if I don't need anymore razors or whatever else is on my plan? Quite simply that's fine you can delay for a month (it's every 3 months) or just deactivate and activate again whenever you want with no fees.

I was sick of buying razors in supermarkets and then not being able to get the blades next time so I'd have to buy a new razor.

I was thinking it would be a rip off but so far it's brilliant.

    I've got a beard.

I tend to use clippers to keep the edges all neat but if I'm going out or anything and I need a clean shave in the non beard areas I use a decent shaving oil and a traditional safety razor with a Wilkinson sword blade in it.

Which is the combo I use if/when i do go beardless.

    I've had a beard since I was about 21.

Never felt the need to get rid of it, follow fashion or give a **** what anyone thinks about it.

Trim it back to about a 6 once a week.

I have to shave once, sometimes twice a day if I'm going out in the evening and use a razor, water, hot or cold, not bothered, no soap, no oils or whatever to shape it.

Can't imagine why I'd need anything more or do anything different.

Mind, I had a shave once out in Saudi in what looked like a set from a western. Was fantastic.

The full hot and cold treatment, cut-throat blade, etc.

Didn't shave for a week! Excellent!

Had a beard for ages. I think I might have accidentally invented ‘designer stubble’ coz as it turned greyer and greyer I used to cut it shorter and shorter.

Gave up in the end. The grey always wins and you end up looking like Captain ****ing Birdseye! <laugh>
