Apparently he is available on a free. Would that mean we could sign him as no fee involved or does it still have to be done in a transfer window? Admittedly talking about it here won't make it happen but I was just wondering on the rules regarding "free" agents. Is he still any good? We are crying out for a creative attacking midfielder
The transfer window applies if he affiliated with a club. If he isn't, it isn't a transfer (i.e. from one club to another)
Had his contract torn up apparently so a free agent - we only registered 24 players at the end of the window, so a squad slot is currently available
Played 8 games this season, only half of last season and 7 games in the season before that. Hardly seems match fit, and if he was still any good he'd have better options than us.
Him, Alex Song and Evra are all available. West Ham are trying to the latter after he was freed for trying to level that fan. Song is a holding midfielder, Nasri is a No.10 and Evra is a left back. All positions we need. I think we could do a lot worse on short term contracts to the season end to beef us out a bit.
Evra would be great - I know which ‘fan’ I would point him at first. There would be prawn sandwiches all over the place.
I'd have Nasri....he would be an improvement on some of what we have already. Evra has gone to WHU now. He's 36 but he'll still be quick and probably still able to do a decent job. He's not better than dummet tho! Nasri on the other hand is only 30 so he's surely still got a couple of good years left in him at PL level? Class is permanent and I don't recall him having that bad of an injury record. We should definitely "make an enquiry"....we're ****ing experts at that. Then he'll end up and WBA after Pardew hears about it !!
If you meant "are there any useless Spaniards on the list"? Then yes, yes there are..... But I'm not telling you who...
I don't need to know who. They would be the only ones Rafa the Wretchedness would sign so I've lost interest.
