I've said for a while I don't like the rock and Kevin Hart combo.

I don't find Kevin Hart good in films he's a better stand up guy, The rocks funny in films without him tbh.

Funniest recent duel in films for me is wahlberg and Farrell, especially in The Other Guy's.

Both the Daddys Home films are good too.

I quite like will Farrell some hit and miss movies but when it works he has me in tears sometimes.
Anchorman 1 and 2 Are hilarious but that's just will Farrell.

Yeah his character is also very good in it. Mcgregor got the plaudits from some but I dodn't think he was was anything special.

Watched 2nd episode of Altered Carbon. Lots of gratuitous nudity just for the sake of it. Nipples, butts, and penises all over the place.

2nd episode was better than the first. Still don't like any of the characters, with possible exception to the AI hotel keeper where the main character is staying. He seems likable and an interesting character not just a sterotype or a flat personna. Ironic the most human character in the show is AI.

Not top of my watchlist still but definitely felt more like a show than a computer graphics demonstration now. May watch the rest of the series but won't be rushing through it.

The main lead is an arsehole, and the female cop who is obviously going to evolve into his lover even though they "hate each other" at this stage in the show is completely irritating. She reminds me of an angry Mexican Clara Oswald playing a disgruntled cop.

She is legitimately a Mexican actress but her accent sounds put on... <laugh>. Not sure how that happened.
A bit like Tahani from "the good place" is a legitimate Pakistani-Brit but her accent always sounds fake to me. Maybe they exaggerate it for the shows.

Anyhow in summary... Show getting better. Don't love it... But based on episode 2 I might watch the rest... It helps that there isn't much else on at the moment.

Watched a great film last night that I haven't seen before. Coen Bros. Called Burn After Reading. Very funny and very violent. They do love Clooney and McDormand don't they? <laugh>

    watched few things this week

zoolander 2, Ted 2 and Anchorman 2- all great sequels, seen before but still funny. - solid 8/10s

    All eyes on me.
film about the late tupac shakurs early life and eventual death, with minimal music in between, there was a reason i put this off for so long and seems i was right, pretty forgettable, the film takes you through his controversies and roller coaster ride of a career to a young death by shooting, rather than his music, which is a big fail, doesn't hold a candle to others in the rapper biopic genre like 8 mile, compton and notorious.- a watchable 4/10

    Thor Ragnarok.
watched again with full attention and in HD
best Thor movie by a mile, and one of the best marvel have done for me, obviously learned a lot from deadpool and guardians of the galaxy regarding humour and it worked a treat.
Hulk and the Rock guy very funny
    geoff golblum was good too.
    8.8/10

    Patient seventeen - netflix
documentary about a dr who has been takes a bit of metal out of a man who claims its an alien implant of some kind.
turns out the "implant" after testing is definitely not of this earth.
    interesting - 7/10

Ted 2 was good, Anchorman 2 was a shocker!

Thought Thor Ragnarok was decent too but preferred the first Thor.

Yeah it is, just never really took off. I think that was down to it being old ground with all the films but it really is well done.

I've never seen Cloverfield so might watch that then the new film. Reading reviews on The Cloverfield Paradox 6/10 on IMDB and 17% RT. That's a shocker.
