I rarely comment on these types of things, as you don’t often get the full details, but I think that is a disgrace
Makes you think... Tube stop St John’s Wood is the only station on London’s Underground that does not contain any of the letters of the word ‘mackerel’.
No not FNMN or anything to do with anything else but I think that this needs an airing, yes this version transcends the Rightous Brothers for me if only for the fact that the whole band, and back up singers, look to really be enjoying this performance, and for the unitiated, Jesse Muelller played Carole King on the Broadway version of Beautiful. She did not do the same role in Hull, she had moved on to other things, but his is not detracting from the Hull perforamance of this fantastic show, Dennis will confirm the show's impact.
Odd thing is Dennis I cannot seem to obtain a DVD of the show anywhere, not necessarily the Hull show, but any of the performances. I would have thought that the original Broadway production would have had a video made, but a the moment my searches have found nothing.
Falcon Heavy Test Flight please log in to view this image Ladies and Gentlemen, today is the the day SpaceX attempt to launch Elon Musk's Cherry Red Tesla Roadster on a heliocentric orbit that will take it out as far as the orbit of Mars. The car sits atop a Falcon Heavy rocket, essentially three Falcon 9 boosters strapped together with a combined 27 engines and if all goes to plan the boosters will all attempt to land, two 9 miles downrange from the launchpad and one on an automated barge out in the Atlantic. Elon rates the chances of success at 50/50 and with the rocket standing at the height of York Minster and containing the equivalent explosive power of 2000 tonnes of TNT, the result will either be an unprecedented technical achievement or a ****ing massive explosion. please log in to view this image The launch window opens at 6.30pm this evening and if you're so inclined you can watch it live here.
