A draw between Palace & Newcastle is probably the best result for us - but we still need points off Chelsea tomorrow.
Blimey - for 85 minutes the officials had it easy at Anfield then all hell broke loss! Brave assistant at the end to give that penalty- Mind you he missed the offside for Spurs' first. Both Kane and Lallema (spelling) made the most of both "fouls" Shame as there were 2 excellent goals which won't get the headlines!
Leeds sack another manager .. Hasn't helped him that they have had 5 red cards in 6 games ! I guess as ever it's the gaffer who gets the blame.
Palace seem to be suffering like us with injuries- Zaha out for 2 months now ! Was he injured diving..
They must have a space in their squad: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42967419 I wonder if he'll play on Saturday.
He shouldn't be allowed to - how long was Cantona banned for for the same offence? I'm sure it was more than two months.
I've just read the article fully - he's banned from UEFA competitions but can play domestically for WHU.
Swansea making Notts County regret that draw they held them to - leading 8-1 with five minutes to go... And Huddersfield about to break their losing run in the replay against Brum
Yes - I did read that, but such an offence should be across the board in my opinion. If I remember rightly, Cantona was banned from 'football', not just one particular league.
Not a good week for Chelsea - just knocked out of the Checkatrade Trophy by Lincoln. I think they were banking on that trophy too...
Bet the Football league were hoping Chelsea got to the final! First trip to Wembley for Lincoln. Well Bournemouth fans are going to have a very early start if they are going to Huddersfield! Maybe trying to make a point to BT!
A long way to go for a tonking against Huddersfield, bet the journey home is sweet and keeps them looking over their shoulder too.
I'm not sure about how good for us today's EPL results are. I certainly would have preferred ManUre to have beaten Newcastle, keeping the Geordies out of striking range of us - and, whilst Bournemouth's demise at Huddersfield was amusing, I think a draw would have been better. Thankfully Liverpool look like keeping Saints in the bottom three, only just out of reach of us...
Watched some of the Huddersfield game with two ex-Watford players on show. Ake and Hogg. Somehow I think we may have seen the best of Ake as he doesn't look that good in his defensive duties, while Hogg still buzzes around doing the simple things well.
